No, of course not, he is just clinging to the unicorn while trying to explain the Trucker's Convoy clumsily. It's pathetic

But do you know what else is pathetic, supporting the truckers by watching a Canadian movie and CONSOOMING. Seriously, he talks about the keyboard warriors and slacktivists and makes fun of them but he is literally doing the same thing

This doofus just wants to show off his consooming cred by using an old comedy movie based on a TV show he was able to watch as a kid due to UHV interference to pretend he's doing shit all. If he actually wasn't a pathetic grifter he'd show up to the scheduled American Honkenings that were planned or organize one on particular mandate pushing governors.

But he's not. He just wants to flex with a movie production and pretend he's totally one of you, based and redpilled people.

But what does watching a comedy movie, maybe 10+ years after it was made, do to help truckers?

New blog post Darrick is playing martyr again as usual. He backed out of TSRcon because of their mask requirements because of Wisconsin laws and he of course said he would not go to a con that requires masks so no can do. With his title in the blog post he acts like he was kicked out, but that wasn't the case, he backed out by choice, but no, according to him, the mask requirements forced him to, it wasn't his own free will.

Also, some drama with this Lenasa guy he mentioned in the OSR community, but I don't know the details about this.

Muh no mask requirements.

Muh no mask requirements.
I mean, I hate them too, but TSRcon requires them not because they support those requirements but because ITS THE LAW. They want the con to go on and don't want to get shut down,

Darrick thinks they should break the law and not require masks as an act of rebellion which he will do with his own con and then scream persecution when it inevitably happens to Vengercon.

Again, I genuinely think he's hoping his non-thought out garbage fire of a con idea gets closed down both to try and cry victimhood for his paypigs' money, but also so he doesn't have to actually plan shit out. He'd be so happy if his stupid narcissism con got shit canned for violating mandates.

I do love his attempt to blatantly lie about getting kicked from a con, when in reality he chimped out while holding toys he stole from his children over a state requirement the con had to follow in order to actually happen. It's about on par with the time he tried to lie about getting censored by cons for his politics, when in reality he only had links to his blogs removed from their sites. And why did they do that to him you ask?

Well besides the horrid posts where he doesn't fade to black when he describes rape and sex, probably him retardedly and proudly shilling this garbage:

Keep crying about self-inflicted censorship buddy.

That's what I was making fun of. It's a mask, for God's sake, get the hell over yourself, Vengar.

Darrick posted a video about him not going to TSRcon explaining some of the drama with the OSRfags running it and this thing between Tenkar and Justin LeNasa guy and someone doxed people and he confronted him, and Justin denied it and then messaged him again ranting about Tenkar and he didn't want to be in the middle of this and decided to duck out and after the blog post, LeNasa spammed him after the blog post which, again, regardless of whether it was the mask mandate or not IT WAS HIS CHOICE TO NOT ATTEND. Seriously, he blames others all the time for why he can't do things and doesn't own his choices at all an it is infuriating.

I would like to hear LeNasa and Tenkar's story about this and see what they have to say because Darrick seems to be omitting some stuff from this story to make him look better. Darrick concludes LeNasa is a schizo and talks about maybe running some games at his local game store in Wisconsin for a couple weekends in March instead of conventions.

He also talks about his schedule and how if he can't get any GMs to run games, he is prepared to run all of them himself for twelve hours straight. If he has to run a game for 15-20 people, that is what he will do, but he begs for GMs.

Also, he talks about maybe doing a video tomorrow more about immersion which I am looking forward to

Disinvited From TSR Con.mp4
Wait, he needs GM's to run games at his con? And when is it again?

This video came out after we mocked him for lying about getting kicked out when in reality it was he screamed like a child and took his ball home over state requirements for meetings. Because of that, I feel like this is the "dumb liar attempt to change story to make it look more sympathetic" approach, where the person reinvents the story when the initial one doesn't work.

I wouldn't be shocked if the OSRfags running the venue were stupid themselves, but my guess is Darrick threw a drugged out fit at them over masks like a toddler, and then cried and ran away when they pointed out the law. Either that, or they told him he couldn't show off some of his more degenerate books due to teens and kids, or that he had to be in the Adults only section.

Or he wants to save the money for a 4th trip to Disneyworld in a year so he made up drama to avoid paying. It could be anything.

What an idiot; nice proving you GM and play so rarely that you have no clue how impossible that group size would be Darrick. The largest DnD party I was a part of was nine, and the GM had a lot of trouble managing that when all of us were there.

A smart person could maybe pay some reliable people they know to run a module, like their pay pigs or something. It'd give some incentive to ensure that you don't get drowned either. Something like 20 - 40 bucks (or some merch for that price) for 2-4 hours would work pretty well I imagine.

Most people plan this sort of stuff out, but again, I strongly suspect Darrick hopes for his con to get canceled for some reason so he can victimhood seek and not do it. Hell, I won't be shocked if he lies about getting cancelled sometime before the venue starts and just pockets the money.

Immersion is simplish; you set lighting and reward RP. Sometimes music adds to it too.

Wasn't he also bitching about them wanting him to remove the link to his coomer blog (IT being against the con policy to have links to blogs in your bio, let alone links to his coomer shit) or was that a different con?

It was also Gen con I think, and if it's due to self-promotion that's even funnier IMO.

These recent attempts as well as how he still hasn't planned shit have actually been added to the OP since I want to occasionally expand it to bolster points and it's blatantly false that he's been banned from either place.

ADDENDUM: Since I might as well do it, also included his vanity label in the thread name too.

The convention is in five months and he didn't have at least 2 or 3 GM's he could call upon? Why didn't he say this when the website went out?

Now would he have some extra books lying around for his GM's to use or would he ask those he hired to bring their own stuff?

Because Darrick didn't think it through at all due to *yawn*🚬

He has no clue what he'd need to set up for a convention. Hell, did he even save up rooms and accommodations for the guests? Probably not given how he's only asking 100 bucks for 3 days. So those poor fools who spend money on this likely will show up and not have any rooms ready. He also provides no other serious events or contests besides his slam poetry with his terrible books and gaming.
Now would he have some extra books lying around for his GM's to use or would he ask those he hired to bring their own stuff?
He'd assume they have all the books and expect them to bring their copies is my guess, but he won't clarify this and get angy if the potential GMs he brings on don't have it.

It's going to be a complete shitshow if he doesn't either get cancelled or fakes getting cancelled is my guess.

I've never heard of a con that was set up and run by a single person. You'd think he would have at least the people he plays with regularly to help, last minute GM calls should be for extras or something.

Dude should just book an Airbnb for the 10-15 people who are going to show up and treat it like a house party.

Doesn't he have Pundit and others to help this out? Does he have at least a 3rd party service to help him plan?

Darrick posted this today on twitter comment on this article that tells about someone who stopped playing D&D because a lot of times he would put a lot of effort in worldbuilding and wanted D&D as a creative outlet, but nobody he played with appreciated it and it became a stressor for him and DMing became a thankless job. This guy you could tell from the article put a lot more effort in the game than Darrick ever did with a session and it is like Darrick makes fun of him for putting in effort.

Darrick also doesn't know the difference between a zoomer and a millennial (who are in their late 20s-30s by now) millennials mostly got started with 3.5 and Pathfinder (which Darrick hates so for all I know, he might be jabbing at the 3.5 and Pathfinder 1E fans, I can't really tell) and while many of them are sick of D&D, they are mostly sick because of the Critical Role fans invading the hobby among other things. I mean, I assume most of the regulars on this thread a millennials or at least late gen X or early zoomer.
