I love these moments, specifically when it's about Paypal, because all of this ranting and raving and name calling is solely the result of someone saying something or calling something into question that has the potential jeopardize whether somebody gives him money or not. It's the only reason that he's saying any of it. It's some defensive / damage control / panic hybrid response where he so aggressively wants to just completely discredit and shame someone, lest they threaten how many 'contributions' he receives. In megathreads a lot of discussion can be cyclical over extended periods, so that's understandable. I think the "should we send more or less cardboard dicks to Phil" discussion is harder to cordon off than other topics because it kind of drifts into trolling plans in a sense. I get your frustration, but don't have much to say about it except that if it's not trolling discussion, we frequently also lap back into extended speculation whether or not DSP is gay and if so, how much, rehashing the same jokes that've been around for years.

I don't see a lot of calls to action here. If someone does it's quickly slapped down and the person is told to fuck off. Phil is one the most boring people on the internet, and the fact that people here can keep it fun and enjoy laughing at the absurdity of it all is amazing and I hope it never changes.
