I don't believe in ghosts but I like hearing stories from people who do. Have you ever lived in a spooky house? Have you ever seen a ghost?

I wanna hear your scary stories about ghosts because I am having some strange Events. The other day a slice of cheese literally vanished from my snack plate and then again today, just 10 mins ago, I was eating cukes and ranch and three cuke slices vanished seemingly within the span of a few seconds. I'm not even kidding. I know exactly how many there were. So, my home may have become infested with a ghost.

I consulted my friends in chat and @FramerGirl420 thinks the ghost actually ate my food:

I used to hear strange stuff at my Grandmoms house once in a while. (so did my siblings and a cousin)

Not haunted but I saw a ghost in my childhood home.

It was of our cat. Went to the bathroom late at night, and saw her sitting on the bathmat. She'd run away weeks ago, so was surprised. Went to pat her but she melted into the pattern of the mat.

Found her body two days later under the house. Was super weird

The first house I rented was haunted. Typical shit like weird feelings, footsteps, things moving on their own. We would see it as a man in his 30's, usually just walking around or staring at us. Eventually our friends refused to come over and things kept getting worse so we left after less than two months.

More like apartment. Ever since I've moved into this unit going on 8 years ago I've hear the distinct sounds of footsteps in the upstairs hallway every so often. This occurs about once a month on average and it makes no difference whether anyone else like my Bosty is currently in the bed snoozing. It even happened when I had just laid down to sleep for the night once, big as you please the sounds of footsteps on the floor from my door to just before the bathroom, but I saw nothing and I was avidly watching on the tailend of it, I assure you. I used to laugh it off, but recently my wooden chair I sit at to do filing on my iMac has begun to creak inexplicably up to an hour after I've already gotten out of it for the evening to get some weight off my back, for all the world like someone else decided they were through using my computer too and got up because they needed a stretch! It doesn't help that the apartment complex has had one death and two suicides on-property (one a murder-suicide involving grandchildren) and the previous and only other tenant in my unit was some little old lady.

awww. That is sad and cute. We had our only pet, a gray cat run away when I was a little kid and it devastated me. He had a very distinctive little two-nip scar on his ear from something that happened before he lived with us when we rescued him from a sick stray (my mom has been taking in stray aminals for my whole life). You could not mistake this cat for another cat because of his ear.

Almost a year later I was bugging my mom that it was time to rescue another pet but we just could not find a serviceable cat in our area, so we went to the shelter to adopt a homeless cat. Our runaway gray cat was there, little nibbled ear and all. All three of us recognized each other immediately and we brought him home and he lived with us for another 13 years.

Yes. Had the shadow of aman that walked up the stairs. Taller hat. Hosie was over 100years old and it was early aughts . Just walked up to the top of the stairs and then straight ahead into a bathroom. Never heard him. House had been remodeled so who knows what the floor plan used to be. We d often see him at night but sometimes in daytime, especially sitting in living room facing the entryway of the stairs. Several friends saw it too. Pagan friend did a salting and blessing and whatever but when I told her about the the ghost she said "oh I actually realized I forgot the stairs" and did her ritual again with stairs but ghost was still there. Didn't bother us.

I grew up in a 200+ year old house that was sort of a mix of the mansion from Resident Evil and Maniac Mansion, I'm pretty sure were there some ghostly shenanigans going on.
