I find things like these funny because he shows he's a complete fraud even in fighting games, his taste in them mirrors his taste in vidya games in general - if it's not the most well known overproduced AAA tripe, he never heard of it or it "flahpped and nobody relevant cares about it" like what he said about Virtua Fighter when he did the Fighting game club side story in Lost Begment.

The thing I'd compare it to is when someone claims they like a non-mainstream music genre like metal and then proceed to only listen to Metallica and maybe Pantera if they feel like listening to a "hidden gem band."

Luckily, the single player content is limited and the story is pretty short.
I think we'll probably see some online play no later than after his break.

He somehow misunderstood the tutorial already, he said that all specials in Max mode are EX even if you only press one button, which is wrong.

DSP for when you check this thread after your stream: Hakama weren't worn in combat, they were one part of the full formal wear for courtiers and Samurai because Samurai were a noble class.

half paying attention so I thought I miss heard him but he said it a few times now does he think Quarter circle back and then half circle forward is "back and forth plus punch and kick"? Also how do you do an elbow with kick buttons, phil? Is that why you get a tatsu when you do a dp?

Can already hear him bitching about opponents doing braindead auto combo, ez-mode, non impressive, no fundamentals and not earned combos punishes that they totally didn't mean to do.
