I know this is late but DDoS and shit making it hard to do anything.
Anyways, I decided to go back to the hot mic from yesterdays stream and do some enhancements. 60 dB of gain, a highpass at 2000Hz and lowpass at 1375Hz later and I give you this:

I only did this because I saw the rumors flying around that Phil was talking to Kat when he said she was at work and wanted to verify this myself. Congrats, she was there and talking to Phil.
1:46 : You can hear Kat say something but I can't understand what she is saying
1:53 : Phil says "Wow, look at all this food!"
3:00 : Phil talking about something, can't quite make out what but it's there
3:42 : Phil says "I don't even know what this is?" Then starts laughing
3:53 - 4:28 : There is a conversation going on about something in the order Phil does not understand. It is clear that there are two people talking so I'm going to say one of them is Kat.
The next few minutes are some inaudible bits of conversation from Kat with some of Phils part being able to be heard better.
Overall, nothing much besides Phil lying about Kat being at work. I saw the HateArmyWatch video but wanted to tweek the source some more to see what could be heard.

YouTube shorts aren't even that bad of an idea. I get recomended shorts of some guy named Lyle Shrub or something who does like little 30 second clips of his skyrim gameplay. They're short, entertaining, and probably attract a viewing audience. Why? He's funny a lot f the time, sounds inice, and doesn't beg.

Exactly, even though shorts itself is filled with garbage, putting some shorts out there is basically free advertising for your YouTube channel. There’s no reason for Phil not to go through with this, except that he’s lazy and ig he doesn’t want to.

Has his lighting changed recently? I popped into the restream a few days ago and it was way more.. yellow? than I remember, and it made his hair look completely different than usual.

Takes too much editing to get a 30 second clip, why not just weatch the video would be his excuse, even though shorts would give him far more exposure than his current MO.
You can bet everything you own that if YouTube shorts were/are easy monetization or something Phil would be spamming them out. Hell I wouldn't put it past him to just upload shorts if that were the case.

The real question is what would the shorts even be of?
The only "entertaining" moments Phil creates is when he is raging his head off and swearing at the devs. Otherwise it's creepy children's entertainer or depressed addict...and neither of those make you laugh.
He's boxed himself into the Dellor/Wings category where he would only grow if he embraced that part of him, but his ego won't allow for that.

I caught a bit of his prestream from the marathon, these are getting really hard to watch even with shinko and even in smaller chunks.
how can you make it to 40 and not understand how different people have different tastes? Like seriously. His MMO rant was that of either a child or someone who just doesn't understand how humans work. He keeps his finger on the pluse on the gaming trends but then was amazed that 1 million people would play an MMO at launch.
Just that small rant there's so much to question..
WTF are gaming bubbles? Odd thing to talk about being a "variety streamer". Who the fuck says console pleb unironically over the age of 20? how is a million people playing an MMO at the NA launch such a "WHAO *stroke face*" moment? Phil, hi you simpleton, you know Destiny, FF14, PSO, STO, DCUO, BD, Blessed, ESO, Neverwinter and more are on console, no? Who cares what other people like? How is this big gaming news but glossed over MS saying they want to get more people to play WoW, Ff14 having such an influx of players they had to stop the demo and selling the game?

Essentially what we see every single prestream “gaming news” segment is: Phil repeats some news he read on Twitter, Phil completely misses the point and just constructs a straw man, Phil proudly destroys the straw man.
It’s also so funny to me how Phil always tries to come across like he’s hyper-aware of advertising gimmicks and over-commercialization, like “They can’t pull one over on me!” Or “You’re an idiot if you fell for that!” Yet we all know how fucking gullible he is in general, and plenty of times he has openly fallen for advertising gimmicks. The only people Phil has convinced that he’s a super-smart consumer are his retarded wheechairs, and that’s all he really needs to convince.

Someone dropped a $4.20 tip at the end of the afternoon stream that Phil 'missed' (likely it's just that he was in his fury and a scramble to leave), which he talked about this evening. He then proceeded to not add it to the leaderboard. How much of a bean counting piece of shit do you have to be not to just credit it to the night stream? I don't know, but this is his standard practice.
He also plugged the jerseys again. Now, if they hit $150, the dent heads will have two polls, one to vote if they want a vest or a jersey, and then a second poll to determine the color choice.
This scam works entirely in Phil's favor, since late tips to hit the vest goal will now be shit on harder by having 2 polls to eat into the vest time. He has already leveraged 10 minute selection polls for the vest in an obvious attempt to minimize the amount of time he has to wear it. Maybe this is in hopes that his lesser paypigs will now be less inclined to wait for a whale, but it's likely just more spite for his audience. Also worth noting is that, as Phil bills this as a 'special surprise' and a new addition, he already attempted to use the jerseys to restart the vest streak about a month after the original ended. It did not work at the time.
Finally, I have had to twice check to see if YT didn't somehow reset me to 0.75 speed because Phil is speaking weirdly slow and slurry. Fans of the 'drunk on stream' theory can cite tonight as a solid example. Something ain't right here.
