Most games nowadays offer some sort of way for you to make it way easier, and those ways, which are usually hidden, are out in the open for people like Phil, who both read guides and have other folks telling them in chat that they should do this and that.

Just remember that Phil beat Sword Saint Isshin in Sekiro, a very hard boss, quite easily by spamming the Lazulite Axe (and he most likely had read guides about the boss and knew its moveset beforehand). And even if that had not worked, a paypig would have probably told Phil about the Dragon Mask and Phil would have grinded some attack power to make the game easier.

Here's hoping that I'm wrong and that the Pig ragequits Sifu, but I doubt it.

Looks pretty fun, though.

That sword saint fight is one of the most aggravating and incredible moments I’ve seen while watching Phil. I too think it’s very clear he read a guide, as he is using strats and adapting his timing in a way that isn’t remotely realistic to how you would approach the boss when playing blind.

As a personal aside, Sekiro was my intro to fromsoft games as a player, and I also wasn’t really even playing games at the time I picked it up. Needless to say, I had to stop playing because it whipped my ass so hard (couldn’t pass ogre or the shinobi hunter at hirita estate). Eventually I came back to it and started a new game, made it through, and it is now my favorite game of all time. It’s hard to describe how rewarding finally beating isshin is, as I really did play the game totally blind. But it’s probably also my favorite boss fight in any game.

For DSP to so clearly hate the entire process of getting to the end, and then just look up strats and/or video of the fight is pathetic and so opposite to the spirit of the game. For me it’s also so obviously cheated because of how aggressive Phil plays him, after spending the entire game running around like a total pussy. And to celebrate and brag because of “how much quicker” he beats him… it’s just like wow you really are pathetic and afraid of looking bad. Incredibly sad.
 
honestly surprised he's playing Sifu, thought that game was below his notice but all the same it's a game i'm very much looking forward too.

I remember theres a way to glitch the Demon of Hatred fight by pretty much going out of bounds so the idiot would walk off the ledge and die. Not quite like Ceaseless Discharge since that is how you can do it, but a bit similar. Also knows to use the finger whistle on him without the game hinting at it other than reading item descriptions and using it to put two and two together which he never does.

What's this retard do first? Try and do exactly that. He makes it very obvious to people that actually play these games and pay attention. Shout out Metroid Dread too. Knows exactly to use powerbombs when the blackholes come out. Shit he even preemptively did it.

He's just a dishonest cocksucka.
 
Wow! I can't believe Phil decided to change his retaaar skyrim hat for his other retaaar skyrim hat FOR FREE!! How can he be so kind? The thing that I was talking about with a frogga the other day is that Phil lost the chance to do something unironically based like buying a real norse helmet, he could have gone to kultofathena or any other place that sells historical weapons and armor to get himself a real norse helmet instead of that retarded fluffy cartoonish helmet he bought, and the worst thing is that a real helmet is around 100$ and he bought two hats for around 20$ each, had he put only 60 bucks more he could have gotten the real thing and not be called a lazy greedy pigroach for once.
 
Man, this season’s writers really need to start picking up the pace, considering that the most interesting thing in the Goutsphere while Phil’s streaming is some guy commenting in the Farms… when he could be working another double-shift after hitting the Gym.

No no, this is good. He has a problem right now because he got the money he asked for, but that was a lie so now he needs a new reason to ask for more.
He can say he lost all his ad revenue so now he needs another $600 to compensate.
Fortunately, no shower needs to explode this time, leading to complicated questions about plumbers.

Here's the thing tho... If a clown shows up randomly at your house and starts throwing confetti at your face while yelling the n-word it's kinda hard to just ignore.

But if the clown does the same performance over and over and over and over again, you just interact with it a bit and move on. It gets easier with time.

CLEARLY he doesn't repeat himself sometimes ad nauseam cause he has the gin rotten memory of an exceptional gold fish...naw...
 
Is it just me or does every time Phil swears outside of playing a game (ie yelling at a troll or when he is salty at not making the tips goal), or makes a threat like fuck you and your mother, does it sound like he is trying to imitate the same tone as an actor in a mobster movie. Must be that Acktalian heritage of his.

I’ll also bring up his O&S fight in the dark souls redemption run. He knew this was the part of the game everyone was anticipating and expecting him to rage at. So what does Phil do?

He gets to the boss fight then decides it’s time to go on break. Then comes back and beats them first try using the exact strats the first guide that pops up after a google search tells you to use. Separate the two using the pillars and focus on killing Ornstein first because his second form is the harder of the two.

This is the same man that forgets the basic controls of games after not playing them for a week. But expects us to believe he’s able to “on the fly” figure out the exact strategy to use against every boss.

That's well and good right now, but when you get into the summer I don't think it's healthy to wear a metal helmet unless you want Phil to get a heatstroke. Also, you have to remember that Phil got into a near-fatal car accident that left one side of his face horrifically burned and caused some back issues, so wearing a weighty metal helmet is no good for his spine too.
