He spent a third of the playthrough flying the practice drone around the starting village. Then he couldn't figure out that the observatory was the big dome building with a giant telescope.
He crashed on the giant water planet and spent like 10 minutes trying to get out of the water before he died.
Then he went to the hollow planet and fell down the black hole. He spent the rest of the time in the white hole warp station saying, "What do I do"

like i said, i might check it out. I am a big proponent of "games need to have fucking gameplay"
but Outerwilds is about as perfect and masterfully "games as an experience" can be done from what I've seen. I think it's honestly fucking brilliant and it is 100% something he is too stupid to understand. This is exactly like Divinity, just in the opposite. Where as Divinity was all about creativity, Outerwilds is all about curiosity, which Phil has neither of.
so if he actually tries to play it, we'll see.

Its really funny how during one piece he had nothing to say. It reminds me of when he tried to cash in on Spongebob by watching like 7 episodes. He was ready to swing his junk around acting like a Sponge-head but people started referencing memes he didn't get and he shut up real quick
