Thats the quickest way to get average canadians to turn against them. It is also the quickest way to get deadly force to be used. Meal team Six doesn't stand a chance vs a trained armed force. Canadians have spent the last 20 years fighting insurgents and are pretty good at it too.

Well, the Alberta border has capitulated now on the word of politicians that they're going to end the provincial mandate in rural regions. Situation is very volatile. If they feel lied to, blockage returns.

The dumb part isn't that it CANT be done (concrete barriers are easy to transport and place, and there's likely a plethora of them). The dumb part is that it would cut all transportation in AND out of the city, which would cripple it even more, considering the truckers would just blockade the barricades.

Fair point, moving some concrete barricades around would be easy enough. But considering they're dealing with an army of truckers, I think they have the horse power to move those out of the way.

Also, I was thinking more along the lines of setting up guarded entry points throughout the entire city, because like you said just straight up barricading off the roads would literally be worse than doing nothing. If that's what she meant, she's even dumber than I gave her credit for.
