Yes, I've never liked Carl or watched his content, but as you said, there were some good reasons for his behavior, and he seems to have learned his lesson. While I am no Sargon fan, I think back in 2018/19 when he was feuding with Jim and Ralph he was going through a hard time - what with the angel baby, the substance abuse etc. Yes, he was an egotistical idiot who self-owned, but I think there was a lot more than meets the eye going on behind closed doors for him.
Hence, he seems to have learned his lesson from trying his hand in politics. I don't watch his podcast, never will, but he is earning a living and staying out of the public eye rather than doubling down and getting beaten up in Portugal.
Still, whenever I remember any of the things he did during that period of time, I can't help but laugh, with Ralph it's more of a "how can anyone be so stupid/how can anyone do this to themselves willingly?".
I don't know, in the end they're both spergs (one worse than the other though), and I don't want to sound like I like Carl, let's see what Ralph does tonight, but he has a high bar to beat with 30 min of Carl smugly chuckling to himself while muted.
