It's a shame the move is scheduled for winter. I'd love to see him get down there mid-July and be physically crushed under the humidity.
If Chibi ever does make his way to Florida (:optimistic:) then this might actually be better, as he will be half a year into a living commitment before he gets absolutely slammed by the heat, mosquitos, flying roaches, etc.
Then again I'm also hoping to leave the games scene entirely very soon as I'd like to be paid enough to eat and live a decent life.

Yeah, honestly I find the idea of anyone (espeicially Chibi) doing a dedicated Game Development degree, at best (and Chibi will not be a at best situation) you are going into an industry with a massive worker surplus. The average person going for a job in game dev will be way more talented than him and because every zoomer wants to "make games" companies will at best pay you like shit (for the skill the job is required) and replace you the second you being there would be even slightly inconvenient because there are effectively endless people to replace you with. This is the best case senario for breaking into this industry and Chibi besides being less than averagely competent has gone out of his way to attatch his name to dirt that would make jobs with no worker surplus think twice before hiring him. Ironically Chibi's current job is probably 1000x more stable than any game dev job out there; A job he sucks at, no one there likes him and is basically just trying to wring a few more $ out of boomers for cellphones
I speak with a number of game AI developers who are "regular" programmers as their main job. They all say the same thing: pursue it [game development] as a hobby, not as a way to make money. Besides the fact that turning your hobbies into your work is a great way to grow to hate the things you love, everything that you both said rings true concerning the job market and the compensation. A recent discussion we had basically centered on the fact that doing the same kind of work in a game dev setting as in a regular business will net you 1/3rd the salary, if that. And, as mentioned above, you are replaceable as fuck - usually by someone just as naive as you, who thinks that making games will be as fun as autisticly playing them.
So, I was contemplating slightly on why Adam's choice in shirts is so cringe inducing. Pretty much everyone has shirts related to a band or media they enjoy, or just liked the printed design on. T-shirts are a pretty casual staple for most people. I then realized that, unlike regular people who like a design or a little reference, Adam goes out of his way to wear things that will bring him attention. People will obviously double take at some grown ass man in rainbow Pokemon shirts for one, and as far as the stuff like the Kirby shirt or the Yugioh one he just got, he not only gets the loudest design to stand out, but will absolutely use it as an excuse to try and make friends or attract nerd women. I 100% believe he launches into a passionate tirade whenever an unassuming passerby says "Oh, I like your shirt!"
It's 100% for attention. We all know he is desperate for it. I agree that he likely uses it as bait too, just to try and recruit more emotional tampons for his cause. It's like that shitty PUA tactic of "peacocking" i.e. wearing loud and ridiculous clothing to try to offset the fact that you are an ugly incel. The only way he could be more blunt about it is if he wrote "WANT WOMAN FRIEND" on them.

We're slowly starting to see the industry unionize, which can help (it's not the remedy cure-all that some insider folks think it is, unfortunately) but it'll be a long time before I feel the wage and job security is good enough.

Meanwhile if I get the job I'm waiting to hear back from, I can continue my hobby dev-projects and afford to pay people with the skillsets I don't have. Financially I'm better and I'm still doing what I want to do with my life, albeit as a hobby.

Altogether though, Adam seems very much an "Idea guy" to me and he'd probably just be a waste of resources for any company or team who are foolish enough to look at him.

Chibi has always treated his cell phone job as this big thing. "today was a horrible sales day and I got yelled at for 20 minutes, I had to write an essay cause I suck, I need a mental health day, etc. etc." He's just a grunt worker in AT&T. I guarantee this is just Chibi's victim complex and all work stories are embellished.

-"Oh you are moving to Florida? Yeah I'll reach out to the Regional guy to find you a place, make sure you fill out a Transfer Request Form. I got some friends out in Florda too, nice place."

Becomes this whole dialogue of the boss pulling strings and moving all these pieces. In Chibis head he said all the right things to convince him to give the ok.

-"Ok our sales were low today, so make sure you hit all the key talking points when selling a line. Push the warranties"

Becomes his boss yelling at him for 20 minutes and him literally shaking from the trauma.

-"Hey we gotta train the new kid. Adam just got back from lunch so let him do it."

Becomes the boss finally is realizing Chibis full potential and he's the TOP sales consultant.

Chibi doesn't realize he is a nobody (thats fine, most people aren't famous or noteworthy). Just some average in Michigan. He could save up, get a small house, and live a pretty chill life. But he has committed the ultimate sin of being a "White Dude." I still find it funny that all his issues could be solved if he would just be quiet.

So-called "nerd" girls have to shamefully hide their interests because of guys like Adam. Intolerable, pushy men like Adam see a girl wearing a Pokemon or anime thing somewhere on her person and he automatically thinks that they are soulmates and that he's entitled to a hug.

It's sad, but true. There's a lot of women that can't express their interests publicly because they attract unwashed, creepy parasites like Adam.

If he wasn't allergic to the slightest effort, I'd be expecting a generic "DMCA bad" video comprised entirely of arguments plagiarised from whereever he got the context-less soundbites for his discord rant

This is one situation where I am pretty sure it is close to 100% classic autism, no other confounding Chibi-isms led to this decision. Just an honest and true causeless spergout.

Compared to the majority of jobs, it is pretty easy.
  • Requires 0 physical labour
  • Only limit is the Youtube site guidelines
  • 9/10 times you will be working on something you are passionate about
  • You are your own boss
  • It gives you plenty of free time
Only hard part about it is you have to be consistently interesting (something foreign to Chibi).

I used to watch a twitch streamer years and years ago who referred to twitch streaming and the like as his "funemployment" and was extremely honest and self-aware that his fans were allowing him to not have to work a real job in anyway and just have fun playing video games. I kind of wish more of them had that attitude.

No, drinking a whole bottle of wine while you write a script about how Doug Funnie is actually transgender or how Sans is secretly Alduin is not contributing to society the way an ER nurse or even a cashier in the pandemic is. Even many content creators recognize this. It's kind of funny to me that all these people are really socialist/communist/etc, because the idea that a girl posting nudes on onlyfans is doing as legitimate work single mom working overtime in a store exposing herself to COVID is 100% just based on capitalistic notions that if it makes you money it's good.

I find the Full Sail saga boring, simply because we know it'll amount to nothing. He doesn't have the knowledge to get through an initial HR interview, let alone any sort of competency test or high level technical questions they may ask on a follow up interview.

At least the Florida saga will be entertaining if it happens, it's already been funny watching him sperg about it.

Earlier people were talking about trying to quantify his spending on OnlyFans, and I think it's safe to say he probably does subscribe to Purrblind.
Purrblind Simping.PNG

He follows nearly 4,000 people, but glancing at his replied and "Likes" may be a good way to approximate who he follows (and likely subscribes to).

There was a whole conversation that is missing from there. He banned the people discussing it so half of the messages are missing. Probably because he couldn't keep up with their arguments so he just ended up banning them without removing his part of the conversation like the idiot he is.

Going back and reading that screenshot with this in mind, it makes a bit more sense, but you're saying he went and banned people from his server for disagreeing with him on how Nintendo is handling their games' music on YouTube?

Trying to read between the lines here, what exactly would they be banned for? He's saying the DMCA claims are bad, which is the general fan response, but also mentions that Nintendo is legally within their right to protect their IP.

This would be a fairly reasonable stance if it weren't coming from Chibi. "Yeah, it sucks Nintendo is taking down music from their games, but they want to protect their property and I understand that," that would sound reasonable. I'm trying to understand why people would be banned, what did they say?

It's crazy that he has a small (emphasis on small) following of ass-patters if you can get banned for something as minor as that. That's almost Cosmo/Narcissa levels of authoritative.

I don't think that has anything to do with capitalism. My opinion is that the people who are the most vocal are sex pests of some kind. Especially on the internet.

Chibi is a prime example of being a weird sex pest who is very vocal about sex work being real work and constantly sympathizing with those poor cross-eyed e-thots

I don't know what he was saying about Nitendo but he was arguing that editing is real work and requires effort and this guy was telling him he has friends who edit for a living and consider it very easy work but Chibi insisted that it was quite difficult. Tbh it was the most boring shit to read and I just sped trough it.

Hi Chibi. Anonymous guy WITH a YouTube channel here. Can confirm that you're fucking dreaming if you think being a content creator isn't a lazy job.

There's a huge gap in the meaning of "content creator" between someone like YOU and someone like Mr. Beast. I can see where you're coming from when you say it's work, but I'd like you to remain humble and get off your high horse you absolute mongoloid.

What you're probably talking about in the world of content creating are Let's Plays and video game shenanigans. Literally any monkey can record footage and trim it so it looks better. The entire process of video editing takes anywhere from an hour to 3 hours. That's you sitting in your chair and eating some greasy fast food while you do a few keystrokes worth of effort. Maybe add a trendy little meme noise in there or something, but none of this really adds up to actually working. Being an essential worker. Doing physical labor.

Chibi, you are not a content creator. You lack a following that isn't people pointing out how retarded you are on a consistent basis. Your commentary is lackluster. I haven't seen you glow up since your one off stunt at AGDQ. Go call someone a faggot again in your Twitch stream so we have something to laugh at again.

Give me your hats or something Kiwis.

I would also like to point out that he literally hired an editor to do the only part of video making that is even remotely difficult. Majority of content creators that matter have people editting their shit down, trivialising their work even further.

Now I don't want to be an asshole and say being a content creator is completely effortless, as plenty of content creators do put genuine hard effort into their work.

Let us not forget that when Adam was hired to edit some guy's videos, he pumped it so full of stale memes and attempts at being funny/Game Grumps that not only did the viewers of the channel get very vocal about how bad it was, what a terrible departure from the creator's usual content it was as well, which prompted the creator took the video down, apologize, and promptly fire the sped.
