Trans people are just a tool to them. Another means to feel important and get attention.This. Wu doesn't want to be the hero to trans people. Wu wants to be a hero to women. This makes all her trans awareness tweets pretty damn empty.
Thanks for this I had long wondered if pao was actually given a bad rap but she just fell more gracefully than your average sjw.In John's replies, Ellen "Sue 'Em" Pao, former CEO of Reddit, graduate of Princeton and Harvard, looks to an Angelfire page for "reliable" "statistics" on transgender murder rates.

Man, if deadnaming/using wrong pronouns is really so deadly it's a miracle Johnny Wu is still standing.
I am so beyond sick of Wu sitting at home, using the ease and safety of twitter to provoke the world, free from any real confrontations that would give the lie to her many untruths and exaggerations. The internet has allowed this cowardly, confused sociopath a podium to screech her crazy from. And the post millennial generation is just dumb and lost enough to lap it up.
But let's get serious; about TDOR: Isn't Wu denying her trans status out of shame (what else could it be?) more harmful to "the movement" than anything thus mentioned?
Look at it from Wu's perspective: if you view her as the badass, super-popular, revolutionary warrior for SJW causes and feminism, wouldn't such a person coming out as trans be more of a boon than, oh I dunno, an IMAGINARY VIDEO GAME HEROINE revealing that her imaginary, non-existent genitalia was supposedly male? Come ON. This is basic stuff. What if Caitlyn Jenner, or another famous trans person, had had the insanity to deny their trans status? Wu would be tearing them a new asshole before you could say "Revolution 60 sucks shit!"
Wu's denial of trans status gives the lie to all her faux-noble rhetoric; and as such it should be thrown in her face whenever appropriate, especially when she's proselytizing with her nose in the air.
Denial of trans is an admission than trans is something to be ashamed of. Whether you want to see yourself as a real woman or not, how are you helping a suicidal teenage trans-person if you can't even let them know you underwent the same struggles, out of SHAME?
It's all about the shame. Wu sees being trans as shameful and horrifying, not being a "real" woman. We act as if Wu is smarter and more consistent than CWC, but in THIS sense, Wu's lack of consistency regarding trans politesse is every bit as "damaging" to "the movement" as CWC's recent "lady-man" and "not transitioning well" comments.
BRIANNA WU IS KILLING TRANS PEOPLE! Scream it from the rooftops!
Brianna Wu dijo:I belong to an elite order, the technological Illuminati of game development. My spellbook is a 2011 MacBook Pro with dual SSDs and $7,000 worth of professional 3D software. I am consumed by an endless internal fire to transform my passions into practical, playable reality.
Brianna Wu dijo:We finish discussing the storyboards and decide to book our voice actresses for another round of sessions. I think we’re done, but just as I start to edge my way out of the conversation, she sits down. “I need to tell you something, Bri, because it’s going to seriously affect you as my employer.”
Our game, Revolution 60, would not be coming together without Amanda. I’ve come to count on her, not just for her animation skills, but for her perspective. I brace for impact: She’s moving, she’s quitting, she’s found another job.
“I’m pregnant,” she says. I don’t reply immediately, and I’ll mull over my tepid response for weeks.
“Congratulations?”
Brianna Wu dijo:Like most professional game developers, I grew up in thrall of Nintendo and Sony. But unlike most who wind up in my field, I found the women in those games to be more than pretty faces. They were deeply aspirational figures. I grew up in Mississippi, but there was little I could relate to in the small-town worries of whose daughter was in which beauty pageant. Final Fantasy’s Terra, an esper raised by humans, had an internal conflict that rang fiercely true to me. Reality never stood a chance.
One Christmas, my mother gave me $1,000 to buy a PS1 Net Yaroze development kit. My deeply religious parents rarely understood my interests, but they always supported them financially. I became obsessed with uncovering the secrets of developing a game, trying to figure out how to bring the girls I had been drawing since I was eight into the digital worlds of Terra, Celes, and Rydia. Fifteen years later, my wildest dreams are becoming a reality.
Brianna Wu dijo:“I don’t know if I can do this, Bri,” says Amanda. It’s the day after she told me she was pregnant. She’s more scared than I’ve ever seen her, and she sounds like she’s never felt more alone. She’s been with her boyfriend for five years, longer than I’ve known my husband. She’s worried what people will say. She’s worried her parents will be disappointed in her.
I’ve loudly proclaimed my feminist principles from the rooftops for my entire life. But now those beliefs are in direct conflict with my responsibility to ship our game. Amanda is the linchpin of the company. I’m terrified I’m going to lose her, just as I have friends after they have had children and disappeared into the routine of family and schools.
We now have confirmed Alison Holiday for Wu's Sonichu in yet another fashion.
Jesus, the most galling part of this by far is how condescending Wu is to "Maria", her employee her own age who she "mentored" as if she were some wise elder. Unlike Wu, Maria actually had held jobs in the past, so if anything, she should be the mentor! For now, though, enjoy a teaser from the article they dug up:

Good GOD.So a friend of mine recently revealed that not only was Wu beyond crazy well before Gamergate occurred (and gave us some new stuff to add to the Wiki, natch), but brought us a new and amazing addendum regarding Revolution 60 and some information indicating that she accidentally her motorcycle at some point.
For now, though, enjoy a teaser from the article they dug up:
Oh, it gets better. So much better.
Did you notice something amiss in Wu's narrative? It wasn't Natalie that was pregnant - it was Amanda. This contradicts earlier statements of Wu's and pre-dates them as well.
Don't worry - there's more:

It just gets better and better and better. Kiwis, check this out, and bask in the lulz.
Wait, where was this? Wu had a job?Wu talked about her time working at gamestop like it was worse than her ambien addiction.

Beg to differ: Using "evelyn" as an example of "a trans she knows", I think we can safely intuit that Flynt's mentioning of this in connection to TDOR is indicative of, if not outright denial, and least lack of pride. She doesn't deny her trans status. She just lets you all speculate while not discussing it, which is totally in her right, even if she's obviously transgender.
Shh.....Gamergate did that. They distracted her from providing medical care....Remember when Flynt literally killed his dog? That seems literally worse than deadnaming someone.

Think about it: if you were a drug addict, and someone was talking to you about drugs addicts, on drug addict awareness day, would you mention someone else? Or yourself? If you wouldn't mention yourself, why not?
Not at all. Seeing as how it's clearly something Flynt is ashamed of and ambivalent about, I'd be impressed that a modicum of reality had managed to penetrate that thick shell of fantasy which he surrounds himself with.Because you, and I know this sounds crazy, might actually know a drug addict in addition to yourself and, in a bout of absolute insanity, may have learned a story about this person that you wanted to share.
You guys are literally getting mad at her for not mentioning her trans status when you know that if she did, you'd say she was doing it for asspats.
