To be fair that gate isn't an entrance or exit gate. The reason that its on rails and has so many "No Parking" signs around is to keep it clear just in case a fire truck or ambulance can use those gates to go through. They are locked at all other times.

I used to live in a gated apartment/condo community when I was young (under 10) and I always wondered why my parents always had to drive out the little tollbooth like entrance instead of using the giant gate that led right onto the main road. Never once occurred to me that it was purely for emergency vehicle access as there was no way a firetruck was getting through the narrow tollbooth thing. Thank you for answering a question I didn't know I still had for the past twenty something years.

I imagine first time viewers would be confused by dead air, the sub only mode for a slow chat and Phil's response to only contributions. To even discover Phil you would have to get past seeing bigger Detractor videos that have some effort put into them, well most of them.
