US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

These people unironically worship Trump and they're literally incapable of handling any criticism about him. You have to remember, this guy was a big part of their personal identity for four years, and without him they're practically nothing as human beings. That's why they have to portray anyone that thinks even a tepid thought about Trump as being some unreasonable, irrational maniac. It goes beyond party politics and nearly into cult territory, because Trump is the great hope for Western civilization in their minds, and if you oppose anything that paragon does... well, you're cucked, bro, because they have a whole bunch of jargon to call you that you're supposed to feel embarrassed about.

Since Donald Trump is such a central thing in their lives, they naturally go on to assume that anyone that would voice a thought about Donald Trump likewise obsesses over him day in, day out. But you can just go through someone's posting history and see who really gets worked up over Trump and talks about him all day long.
It has nothing to do with Trump you retard it has to do with the fact that, outside of the beltway war hawks who stand to profit and a bunch of mindless sheep who have bought into the pro-ukraine propaganda that's been flying since Obama's days in office, most people don't think Ukraine is worth Americans dying for.

This isn't the cold war anymore, and there's nothing to gain from rubbing our dicks in Russia's face and daring them to react. It has nothing to do with "Russia dindu nuffin" like you and @Snekposter stupidly seem to believe. It's cold hard reality. Nothing Ukraine has ever done, represented or been, is worth American soldiers lives.

Wake me up when the Russians start herding people into camps (that are different in some way than the camps the koala fuckers and chinks and Austrians etc are herding people into) and then maybe I'll start saying "okay yeah we should probably stop that before it gets out of hand" but people who are seriously arguing we should risk a new world war to protect the territorial sovereignty of some backwater corrupt shithole a globe away is retarded and should automatically be conscripted to the front lines in the event that conflict does break out.

And Russia hasn't pulled that sort of shit? Go take a look at who was tossing AKM's at every guerilla movement in Africa. Sure as hell wasn't the CIA. Oh, and who was shipping arms and advisors to Ho Chi Minh so he could overthrow the French during the Cold War. Or shooting down US pilots in Korea while claiming neutrality. Quit acting like the US is the only nation with blood on its hands here.
I mean, I'm pretty okay with colonized people subject to foreign rule overthrowing their French masters. And post WWII powers carving up Korea like a piece of meat has led to generations of suffering. I honestly don't see overthrowing elected governments in the Ukraine as the same.

Biden is senile but he also had the most rational position possible on that non-country. No one should have to die for pseudo-Russians with delusions of grandeur who are only in that position because Obama and Nuland decided to coup the Ukrainian grifter government to replace it with one friendly to the US.

I agree, but the problem (for them) they have is that they don't have the ability to pull the kind of shit they did in 2020. Disregard for a moment the burgeoning civil war in the Dem establishment and enough of them seeing the writing on the wall that nearly 30 Dem representatives are retiring/fucking off this year - they have no political capital and certainly no money, to pull the kind of shit they did back in 2020 with the fortification attempts. The budget fracas was supposed to address both of those problems, but that shit's dead on arrival, and with it, so too are their ability to competently defraud the electorate.

It gets worse, too. It isn't just the Dem representatives themselves fucking off; they have no one able to replace them with anything resembling competence because, as I discussed in my earlier post on the matter, the establishment swapped from their base to the hard lefties because they were thought to be more controllable - they weren't as ambitious, and they were easier to manipulate into getting what they wanted. Even better, they could - and did - help quash grassroots activist efforts. However, this was contingent on them having suitable management to keep them focused and on task, and a merciless combination of the march of time and neoprogressive entryism has assured that that management - literally the lifeblood of the Dems' ground game - is gone now, and with Biden getting so much of the progressive base pissed at him by repeatedly fucking over their core policies, they can't even begin to leverage the same power they had in 2016, let alone 2020 when all the parts of the machine were working properly. Think how many groups that are the lifeblood of the Dems' ground game got fucked in the ass by his administration the second he took office. Do you think any of those, which the ground game relies on, will come back? Because past precedent shows they fucking won't. To use a military analogy ya boi @Jet Fuel Johnny would approve of: their field commanders are mostly gone, their squad leaders are wholly incapable to step up to the plate to replace them because they did away with proper chain of command, they sold out parts of their army for expedience, their morale is in the toilet, they haven't gotten resupplied in ages, and none of this is going to change any time soon. Their ground game - the biggest advantage the Dems have - is fucked in everything but name.

They have no political capital, their finances are in tatters, their popularity is in the toilet, the media can't keep control of the narrative, and there's no way they can recover from any of it.

Even Pelosi wanted to retire this year, only to be pressured into staying. If you're the kind of person who believes in the Trump Curse, then demolishing the Dem establishment will be its biggest casualty to date. For everyone else, this is catharsis on a level few of us in the political sphere ever get to enjoy. Breathe deep.... And savor the impending terror.
Interesting analysis, and this article confirms a lot of what you're saying. The TL;DR of it is that during the Summer of Love, one of the Democrats' top statisticians advised some other analysts that historical trends show that peaceful protests on racial issues help Democrats, but violent protests help Republicans. They went into a conniption fit and fired him. This guy was a virtuoso who could have been making 500K/year at an ad tech company but opted instead to make 150K/year doing data analysis for the DNC. This group was supposed to be the "statistical, scientific wing of the Democratic party" but in the service of wokeness they burned one of their most valuable people at the stake. This is what progressive ideology leads to - it was literally created to cripple organizations.

Tell me how Hillary Clinton would've gotten us in war with Russia.
Invasion of Syria. The usual suspects were salivating at the prospect of having a turkey shoot with Russia, using Syria as the theater of battle. There's little to no risk of Russia going nuclear if you're not directly threatening their homeland, and all of the Smart People in their gay & retarded Smart People Magazines were big-braining about how easy it would be to kick Russia's ass out of Syria and install a "democracy," i.e., an Islamic government that would cleanse the land of Christians, same as we did in Iraq. Iraq was kind of disappointing because Saddam's military was a paper tiger with comically outdated equipment and hilariously poor tactics. Fighting Russia in Syria was supposed to be more of a real fight, one where we could really flex our superiority.

Sorry to double-post.

But note also that Russia isn't a global threat. The USSR was openly seeking world revolution and extending its empire across the entire planet. Regardless of the morality of the situation, it was a pretty cut-and-dried case of two rival empires, and the planet ain't big enough for the both of 'em. Modern Russia simply is not. Their main interests are inward, and their foreign policy revolves around propping up those interior interests. Now, one of those interests is making sure nobody can threaten the hegemony of Putin's gangster government, but who cares? Not any American. Putin wants to make sure America isn't within spitting distance of being able to stage a regime change or color revolution, you know, because we do that all the time. It's not because they have any long range plan to roll T-14s toward Paris some day, but because Putin likes having a palace with stripper poles and isn't about to let anybody take that away from him.

We shouldn't really be getting involved in European territorial politics. Let those bastards shoot each other all day, every day over various bits of soil if that's what makes them happy. Washington warned us about this, and we should have listened.

Well done Xprime, you broke him.

On a more serious note I cannot for the life of me figure out why Sinema voted with Manchin on the filibuster. I'm glad she did I just can't figure out why. Does anyone have any knowledge or thoughts on this?
Honestly it can be as simple as spite. Especially after that shit where protesters invaded the bathroom she's in (and the not so implicit suggestion that the DNC allowed these clowns to do so in the first place). I think anyone would vote to block the DNC agenda after that, purely to spite the shithead who even allowed this.

More seriously, as Gehenna said some pages back, both Sinema and Manchin are the current face of the moderate bloc of Democrat senators. She voted no together with Manchin so that the others don't need to. And since her political career in AZ at least is probably toast either way, the current administration has no leverage on her.
Kane has part of it, but let me harken back to a point I made several months back and that was thoroughly laughed at back then by a lot of the doomers and now I get to be smug.

The Arizona audit had an effect. There is more than enough evidence that the election there was... more than mere sketchy enough, in fact, to successfully go after Sinema and have her recalled. But why do that? No, seriously, why? It would make a media circus, not necessarily be guaranteed to work on the re-run of the election, open up a legal pandora's box. So why do it, if you can have all the same effect for none of the cost?

And how to do it? Simple, hold the possibility over her head, and ensure she only votes for the things you want on anything important. Leave the rest to her to decide to maintain some level of 'independence'.

Given how badly Sinema is doing with the Dem's in her state, some level of coercion is very much involved.

When CNN's saying shit like "Is Biden really doing better than Trump on anything?" you know the end is near. They're not saying Biden's worse yet - because they can't just flip the narrative without easing their viewers into it first - but the intent is there.

Biden questioning the legitimacy of 2022 was really the cherry on top of that whole press conference. Nevermore can they say that Republicans are crazy and dangerous for questioning election results. I don't recally any national-level elected Democrat suggesting such a thing during Russiagate, it was just a bunch of mealy-mouthed stuff about "influencing voters with fake news." A sitting Democrat president has openly questioned the legitimacy of the elections and any Republican with a brain will be playing that clip nonstop.

So I may be misinterpreting here but you're essentially saying that the audit revealed enough fuckery that the republicans are successfully coercing Sinema to hold the line because if she doesn't her political career is toast anyway?

If so, damn, good for them for growing some balls and playing it smart.

Yup! No misinterpretation. I suggested it as a possibility back then and it seems to have come to fruition. There is no way her current record of voting makes sense without some level of coercion... from the Republican side.

Polling shows 90% of Americans are opposed to war with Russia.

When's the last time 90% of America voters agreed on anything? The Biden administration is on the verge of making possibly the biggest political blunder of all time.

The whole thing would be a production, caught in 4k with a scripted media blitz. They would agonize over it for months. Everyone who ever said Fuck Joe Biden would be seen as somewhere between irresponsible and genuinely treasonous.
They tried to do something like that with January 6. Most people just blew it off as the day politicians cried. Dead Biden blamed on MAGA only polarizes the country to the point where Civil War becomes inevitable instead of a Tim Pool meme.
1) COVID is necessary, because they don't have the authority to maintain draconian control over their populations. How does TERROR ALERT DOUBLE RED and the new Patriot Act power grab not offer a permanent solution to an emergency powers problem from an emergency that seems to be solving itself? The bill would just need to couch absentee/mail in voting as a safety priority to give them what they want.
It wouldn't work on Red states since they're the one being called assassins. Purple states would sort of tune it out like they did with the Terror color alerts during the war on Terror and those states would have a functional Republican party that is opposed to mail-in ballots. COVID states are the only ones that would act as you think and everyone can see how they're turning into third-world nations. There is a reason California lost a seat in the last census; enough people left it in disgust.

2) Do you actually believe that Russia is going to play games in eastern Ukraine right after a US president gets whacked in public? Kamala would cherish the opportunity to show how STRONK she is.
Yes, because Russia's desire to buffer itself is greater than Kamala's vainglorious attempt to create Iraq 3.0, and much like Iraq and Afghanistan, enthusiasm for war will wear off in a few weeks as troons and black wahmen die for the sake of white people. The Left's leadership doesn't have principles, but rank and file lefties don't like dying for a vague reason.
3) They're doing a fantastic job of ignoring the border now, and I'm pretty sure that a "National Tragedy" will only help. Not sure what your point is here.
Kamala sort of has the excuse that she's not the one in charge, but once that's not the case, she has to manage waves of HISPANICS. These people only vote Dem for the gibs and if she mismanages them hard enough, they become the base of a new Evangelical wing of the Republican party; a people that absolutely despise abortion. Since the long term goal is demographic replacement, it wouldn't do to replenish the opposing party through stupidity.
4) The economy is a confidence game, to some extent. People aren't entirely mercenary. They want to think that what they're doing matters. If they can play it right, an event like this would offer the sort of unity that Dem's have been pushing for, namely the unity where Trump/populist types apologize for existing, admit that maybe they got carried away and go back to doing what they're told and getting what scraps they're allowed. We'll call this a "sobering effect" and it should help get people back to work, especially with the end of a no-longer-necessary CoV pandemic.
The Trump party isn't going to go away if they're also getting blamed for something they didn't do. All their miscellaneous problems still exist, which is why the Tea Party turned into the Trump party in the first place. It's why they didn't go away when January 6 happened as well.

Also, the supply chain crisis is not a con game where bluffing is the way out of it. That's a bureaucratic nightmare where one governor's policies have created a backlog that no one in the entire industry wants to resolve. Energy crises from converting to green energy also can't be solved by bluffs. $5 gas is still $5 gas.
And hell, the CIA might be psyched to do it after the way Biden dogfucked their credibility by abandoning their assets in Afghanistan.
A straight up assassination only puts their triggerman in unnecessary danger and they lose another loyal asset. Death by natural means is much easier and safer to pull off. No one will ask questions if Biden didn't get his medication. Blaming it on MAGA only leads to a fake Whitmer kidnapping, where it's revealed a bunch of Feds were entrapping some patsy.

WW2... nobody wanted to go to war at that time either.

In a separate question in the same 1939 poll, Americans were specifically asked if the U.S. should declare war on Germany in support of England, France and Poland and should deploy forces to assist those countries. Americans were strongly opposed, with 90% rejecting the idea and 8% in favor.

What everyone should take from this: if there is an "attack" on the US by any force connected to Russia it will be some manor of false flag. Pearl Harbor was an actual attack and FDR had knowledge it was coming and let it happen so he could get the public support to enter WW2.

Don't fall for it again.

Which is why revealing the concentration camps and making them common knowledge was so important. As soon as that war was launched every single politician who voted for it was on a hard timer before they were voted out. Even with Pearl Harbor, they had to show -something- for it.

We had similar support levels against intervening in Syria, and the Afghanistan pullout only further demoralized the pro-intervention side of the country. The DC establishment really hasn't woken up to how much their decades-long nation building experiments have turned the country isolationist.

They should have paid close attention to the absolute bum-fuck that was Iraq and realized "we really shouldn't be doing this".

Anyways i doubt a war with Russia is happening. At most it'll targeted sanctions again, especially hitting Oligarchs who own property in the west.

Does Russia have stake on Syria?
