They go hand in hand but there's a difference between actual autism and being mentally/emotionally stunted because society has shifted to glorifying antisocial and degenerate behavior. Even autistic people, at least the ones who grew up way before the age of social media, were encouraged to ingratiate into society and live like a normal person with a normal social life. Nowadays if a person acts like a weirdo social reject you're not allowed to criticize it or even simply call it out, because genuine self improvement is bigotry/ableism/sexism/homophobic/whatever.
Are more people being diagnosed with ASD today than, say, 10 years ago? Of course, because progress in psychological fields has helped recognize less visible symptoms and correct old myths, but I highly doubt we're suddenly seeing a legit massive spike in numbers thanks to TRA exposing true behavior. Most of them are just dumb degenerates spurred on by society to continue being dumb degenerates.
I seriously mean this in an unironic way, as bad as bullying is (IRL not cyber-booling) sometimes I get the feel we got to this point because some people weren't bullied enough lol.

It's always hilarious to me how, despite all their protests that it's not a real paraphilia, all these TIM descriptions of their own sexuality match exactly with AGP criteria. Like the one in the post above who thinks they are bisexual because they want to be pounded in their pussies, when they used to hate men. They aren't attracted to men, they are turned on by the idea of being fucked like they imagine women being fucked. It's amazing how consistent that is. After a few years, this one will claim to be a lesbian again and try to get into women's pants by calling bigotry.
I'm actually very curious if there is some sort of biological tendency that leads to this fetish, because it's remarkably persistent a pattern for something purely cultural. There has to be some sort of fault line in the male psyche that leads to it breaking this way over and over.
E: My instinct is something like incel/weak-willed dudes who feel insecure around women. Like the pedestal they put women on eventually drives them over the edge.

Reminds me of the dissonance where they believe girls are some magical angelic beings that naturally smell like sweet rose perfume and fairy dust, yet at the same time they go "I haven't showered in days and I smell SO GIRLY, such euphoria, hormones were totally worth it". I always wondered what is it with turboautismos and not cleaning themselves properly or at all. If smell-o-vision was a thing just this thread would cause it to be banned worldwide. Maybe I'm the crazy one but a nice shower makes you smell nice and melts away some stress, making it a good thing. Somehow that's too much work for them even when there is a payoff.
This is a thing about troons and other internet weirdos that always fascinated me. They absolutely need to have someone to project on when consooming media like games or cartoons, that's why they are always looking for the next character to headcanon as trans or angrily demand trans or non-binary or whatever characters. I mean all of you know this, but this fixation in particular amuses me. They really can't appreciate things that aren't about themselves, like, at all.
I don't think regular people has this much of an issue with that stuff, like they can enjoy a story about someone else, maybe consider "what would I do in that situation?" if it's a particularly evocative piece, and maybe "god it'd be cool to be as awesome as <character>", but not literally wanting to be that character. I know people with zero empathy and they can still enjoy things that way, but this bunch of genderthings and "muh representation" groups take it too fucking far.
