In my experience, women who say they like feminine men mean a few specific things by this:

1) A man who cares about his appearance and strives to be groomed and well-dressed.

2) A man who is "pretty" ( e.g. long hair, guyliner, more androgynous facial features)

3) A man who is not macho/steeped in bro culture.

It's not too far off from the mindset of men who like tomboys. It's not that men want a woman who looks like a man (edit: or acts like a caricature of a man), it's that they are attracted to women who kind of bridge the psychosocial gap between men and women while still clearly being female.

Sorry if this is beating a dead horse, but I thought that last line was pretty insightful. My list of teenage crushes would have looked very like what @behindyourightnow was posting - a long parade of the "brooding, sensitive" kind from books and TV shows. I honestly think it's just what you said - trying to bridge the gap between the sexes created by socialization and gender stereotypes, while dealing with someone who is still demonstrably and unambiguously male. It's often very difficult for teenage girls to relate to their same-age male peers, because they're often at the Beavis and Butthead "huh huh show us your knockers, huh huh huh" stage, and any adult man paying serious attention to teenage girls is inevitably a horrorshow by definition - so you fantasize about men who are "masculine" in less annoying and/or threatening ways.

Teenage girls have a rough time (not saying boys don't, but I can't speak to it), I say let them have their imaginary fanfic Norwegian vampire heart surgeon boyfriend. They have all the time in the world to start realizing that the kind of man they're looking for does exist IRL, but they'll probably have time to finish school before they're in a position to meet him

Aside from this, even with all of that muscle, she looks like a woman thanks to the chest, Abby looks like a dude because they just put a male body npc like they said before, the upper part it's reduced and they dropped the modeling because when you get to that point, most people won't care.

It's even unrealistic, most of these jacked bodies are done by overeating and doing hours of force exercise, something which made the character look nonsensical on a game where there isn't any food.

In the article, I noticed how the brothel refuses to let its hookers leave, take 80% of their earnings, make them pay for their own STD tests they're made to get, sheriff's card, etc. Could you imagine a legit workplace doing this to their employees? They'd be sued and closed down so fast.

So would the brothels, because those claims are bullshit. Brothels take about 50% of the gross but cover room & board, security, payment processing, advertising, bar & restaurant for clients to meet them without using a "lineup," on-site clinic, STD testing, property maintenance, etc. Any worker can leave any time they want (lol wtf how could anybody take that claim "they refuse to let their workers leave" seriously?).

Workers have to be re-tested for STDs any time they enter the property to sell sex. That's why they tend not to leave during a scheduled stay (usually 3 weeks long, but that's not a requirement) and it's also why workers prefer not to leave the property for "dates." It's another jab and a delay waiting for the results when they get back, which means "no money." But if you pony up enough cash to make it worth it and you're trustworthy enough (i.e. a repeat customer), they'll happily keep you company for a weekend romp in Vegas. There's no regulations or "house rules" against it, though you can bet the house will want your dox before they turn you loose just in case her body turns up in a shallow grave in the Nevada desert a few days later.

And yeah, it's the worker's responsibility to get their work card. Nevada requires the same of casino dealers and culinary workers. Welcome to work in tightly-regulated industries. I'm generalizing of course, and women are not exempt from doing dumb things ourselves. I know if I attempted to write a list of Mansplaining 101 (couldn't resist the joke, soz) you'd laugh at me too. Because as this thread shows over and over neither sex has a handle on what it's like to be the opposite sex. We're smart enough not to try to figure it out, because the differences keep things interesting.
