Anyone can do this. All you need to do is get a bit sweaty and you can stick any small, reasonably flat object to your skin for long enough to convince yourself that you're actually a walking magnet. It's caused by a combination of surface area, surface tension, and air pressure. The sweat creates a seal between the object and your skin. If the surface contacting your skin is large enough relative to the object, this seal provides enough of a pressure difference between the contact point and the rest of the object to hold it in place for a while. It's even easier with a spoon, as you can create a stronger pressure difference by pressing the bowl of the spoon against your skin and forcing some air out.
