Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

What the fuck is "protected opinion"? sounds like a clean why to say opinion that we approve.
in order for there to be protected opinions there must, by logic, be unprotected opinions. now why would you not be allowed to have an opinion? isn't that just how you feel

It means that nothing the factcheckers say is actually claiming to be factual. Even though they call themselves factcheckers. Yeah, that doublespeak sure is something alright
its the best & its in actual court documents from facebook
with add bonus of that yes our fact check does beat section 230 if that case goes thru & judge agree with facebook.

Uhhhh based Tucker alert???
0-aCLe8r6mBPbrWt.mp4
TUCKER: "You called this a terror attack, when by no definition was it a terror attack, that's a lie. And you told that lie on purpose, and I'm wondering why you did?"

CRUZ: "Well, thank you Tucker for having me on when you aired your episode last night - I sent you a text shortly thereafter and said 'Listen, I'd like to go on because...' The way I phrased things yesterday, it was sloppy, and it was frankly dumb-"

TUCKER: "I don't buy that! Woah woah woah, I don't buy that! Look, I've known you a long time since before you went to the Senate, you were a Supreme Court contender, you take words as seriously as any man who's ever served in the Senate. And every word- you repeated that phrase, I do not believe you used that accidentally. I just don't."
I fuckin love it. Just watched the whole Tucker ep. Despite the fact that he'll say whatever he needs to in order to keep power and relevance and isn't a reliable ally by any standard, Tucker really makes leftists seethe for some reason (probably because shoe would rather fuck him than them idk) and sometimes he hits the nail on the head. This is a whole other debate I could get into regarding nuance, which seems to be something that is becoming an exclusively right wing trait. We understand that Tucker can be a shill for whoever he thinks will win, but still see value in his advice. Leftists would crucify him then rip him down and burn the corpse at the stake given the chance because he has offended The Truth. But I digress, seeing him pounce on Cruz and send him withering down to the point where he sounded like his voice cracked and he came close to crying a couple times, was a much needed refresher. As careful and linguistic as Cruz is, Tucker is equally so. He has been in media a long time, it's his grift and gift - He wouldn't be calling a high profile person like Cruz out this quickly unless he himself or someone higher up than him felt a good indication that things were shifting. Because this is firmly taking a stance against the GOPe garbage, and they have all but scattered the RINOs back to their hidey holes for the time being. They know that the right wing is changing and adapting, finally thank God, because that is what is required for the times. At least I'm drinking enough hopium to think so.

Cruz seems to be another example of the meme of "conservative politician with daughters = ever increasing limp wrist RINO"
How Ted Cruz has any credibility after being so thoroughly emasculated by Donald Trump I do not understand. He makes Bernie Sanders look like Peter North.

Because for all his flaws he is very intelligent and articulate and that is a prized asset no matter who you are or what you support. The man has all the spine of a wet shirt but he really does know a lot about Constitutional law and the responsibilities of the various branches and offices of government, and he knows how to hold those people accountable and where to look for dirt. Basically he's a legislator with the mind of a sleazy yet effective lawyer. And to this point that's been enough but hopefully Cruz sees things are changing and he needs to start growing a bit of backbone and stand up to the left to their faces instead of in interviews after the hearings.

Fair enough I only have surface level knowledge of him but even given the fact I don’t agree with his politics I remember him saying in 2015 that Jesus basically said he had to be President and that really soured me on him. But fuck it my opinion is worth shit outside of my ego so I am always open to being wrong.

Tucker is the second most powerful conservative public figure next to Trump. He can singlehandedly destroy someones political career and Cruz knows it. He ruined any chance that that broad from the Dakotas gets any support in 2024. There was fear in Cruz's voice. Even if him and Tucker on good terms he was worried about looking bad. Cruz wants to be president someday and he knows he has to court the Trump wing.

Also, Tucker is based. No other Fox figure would have dissented when Cruz tried saying that all people who assault cops are terrorists.

If you honestly polled the nation in October 2020 you'd get the same percentage thinking Biden would be "elected" for the first time.

Which reminds me of something that has bothered me this past year. How I went through most of 2019 and 2020 without seeing ANY Biden/Harris shit in heavily blue cities (like Chicago) or Florida or anywhere I went ( my job makes me travel), and once the "election was declared" thanks to "our Democracy" suddenly you see all these shitlibs with stickers, signs, and posters celebrating. Fucking cunts.

Cruz is courting the Trump wing by repeatedly calling them terrorists?
