Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Hamilton was the most authoritarian type of all the 1776 bunch, so maybe that's why. He was also a lolcow and got called one all the time, which is kind of amazing for the time. He came through by challenging Aaron Burr, a man with actual familiarity with weapons, to a duel, over an 18th century thot. Hamilton had to be told how to shoot a firearm and was given plenty of chances to back out but he insisted and was promptly fatally shot by Burr. He's the last historical figure I'd memorialize, just because he was so ridiculous.

Here's a fun fact that I haven't seen mentioned. Lin Manuel Miranda was a huge fanboy of Oscar Lopez Rivera, so much so that he came out of retirement to do a special performance of Hamilton just for him, after Obama pardoned him on his last day in office. And who is Rivera? He was the leader of the FALN communist revolutionary group who planted bombs, assassinated police, and... ONCE SHOT UP THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTITIVES DURING AN ACTIVE SESSION.

I guess Cruz wasn't told that Republicans weren't cucking out today. That's why his statement yesterday was a wrong indicator for today as Republicans like Graham didn't do that today.
