Context matters a lot for women's clothes. Aside from heels not really being comfortable enough to want to wear them all day long, you want to keep them looking nice because you will be very judged if they don't. Which might mean something like keeping a pair or two at the office that you swap with the pair of sneakers you wore on your commute. Most people wouldn't wear heels like that grocery shopping. It's like wearing a cocktail dress to pick up a bag of chips at a convenience store.
Which, honesty, some of these troons probably do unironically because they think that's how women do.

This just proves a couple things:
-Women generally worry more about appearances than men (and tend to police each other as I assure you no non-psychotic straight man gives a shit about the state of your heels and only a certain subset of gay men do);
-TiMs really, really don't have a woman's sensibilities despite their claims to the contrary.

I read the comments and OP says it's other two siblings are trans too. That poor mother is probably mourning the fact all 3 of her kids are all genetic dead-ends now. This is actually something like a universal in troons. Latin American HSTS's have a similar obsession with straight or 'real' men, which is to say men who are not in their eyes fags and who or wouldn't ever do anything that they see as gay. This mostly amounts to not wanting to, or even being willing to take it in the ass. This apparently particular important in a boyfriend though irrelevant in casual partners. A boyfriend "actually being a fag" is almost grounds for breaking up with them, since in their mental world two fags shouldn't be in a relationship.
A lot of this can be explained by a somewhat similar, but not identical desire to be perceived as truly feminine. Although it's slightly different since they historically (this may well change/be changing due to Western influence) don't claim to be literally women in any sense and instead consider themselves to be merely have been born homosexual.

Especially true if you look at ABO which is insanely popular. If anything the gender roles are even stricter and more extreme, with omegas being an obvious stand-in for the "womanly" role. Hetero relationships and "trad life" has been demonized first by the earlier waves of tumblr type people and now mainstream media as a whole, so is it really surprising that horny teen girls went from fighting over team Edward or team Jacob, to not wanting to be boring normies and watching gay hentai instead? Seriously now that I'm thinking about it, it makes so much more sense lol. So ABO came up a couple of times now and I really do wonder if you're onto something here. Back when I was still involved in fandoms, people were pretty much mocked for writing mpreg or later ABO (I checked a history of it to see how/when it started and it even mentions - gross - bestiality as inspiration. I also didn't know it got so massively popular in Japan recently) and it was also often criticised for its sexist premise. Nobody was really taking it seriously back then, I think.
I just was asking myself when and how everything got so much worse. Of course fanfiction and yaoi was always escapism and erotica, but somehow it got so horribly degenerate and regressive and I couldn't figure out why.
