The my little pony creators should take a page from their book. And redirect back to the original audience for her childrens‘ books; children. I can believe that.

Why would you ask a tranny to host a holiday or celebration of any kind? That's just asking for trouble.Worst fears for Asian parents comes to life! That level of narcissism on display and troons wonder why people hate them.

Seriously lol. You pass very often, like, upward of 95% of the time, or you fucking don't. "Passing is a spectrum, if it's dark out and people are distracted and I have a mask on and I don't speak and" etc. is some serious cope. The people who think they pass "most of the time" or under very specific circumstances- that isn't what "passing" means lol, and they're simply surrounded by overly polite/non-confrontational people and everybody knows itThe idea that someone passes because you aren't paying attention to them is an odd one. If I didn't notice a pile of dog shit before I stepped in it doesn't mean dog turds pass for grass.
It's not just troons. It cracks me up when troons convince themselves that fictional characters are gay or trans with absolutely zero evidence. They do the same thing with historical figures though, so I guess it's not surprising.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Please keep in your thoughts all the families this time of year who are walking on eggshells around their newly-out troon extended relatives.
It's not just troons.
I'm a big Supernatural fan.
But I came to the show super late, in season 12 I think. I'd been aware of it from the beginning and wanted to watch it but since I'm not a big TV person I just...didn't.
Anyway, that PL is to establish that I was familiar with the show enough to be aware of the characters and some of the fandom.
The fandom decided that Dean and the angel Cas were hot for each other. It was established fanon that they were a couple. They swore up and down that there was chemistry and obvious subtext throughout the whole show ever since Cas was introduced in season four.
If you don't watch the show you won't know this, but Dean is a horndog. For women. It's a huge plot point in the earlier seasons when things were still lighter and fluffier.
I thought having a bi relationship on TV was great, even if it wasn't official. I was told over and over that it was "all but official", so when I started watching I was super excited.
But nothing. I saw a close friendship between two men, the kind where there's love; but of the platonic, familial sort - which makes sense because family is a huge plot point in the show.
But the fans persisted. They drew the actors into the debate. Jensen Ackles, who played Dean, was team Best Friends. Misha Collins, who played Cas, was team Destial (their fan name).
The show apparently tried to throw the fans a bone in the next to last episode when they had Cas tearfully confess his love to Dean, and then he died before Dean could say anything back. Fans emotions were mixed, many were pissed because it was right at the last second like that and not able to be reprocicated by Dean. Frankly, that was the best outcome from my perspective, but no1curr.
I told you that was autistic.
TL;DR
The demographic for Supernatural was 40-25 year old women, because of the ages of the actors (Jensen was 26 when it started in 2005 and 41 when it ended) and the fact that the cast was primarily hot, buff men. I know there are troons and genderspecials in the fandom, it was the most popular show on the cw and the longest running sifi show ever, but most of us are generic, probably straight white women. Yet too many were convinced there was totally a gay couple that wasn't there.
/off-topic
Agreed, but AFAIK most of the fans in question were straight, or at least "spicy straight". Agreed that the fans should have left the subject alone at cons and stuff, the actors don't need to be bothered by your perverted shit.I'm pretty sure this is just another example of the LGBT being nuts because IIRC Jensen Ackles very much did not want it to be brought up at cons or anything. It's an example of how these people never respect boundaries because the actor explicitly did not want to deal with those questions and the 'fans' took that as homophobia or some shit. They did not want to respect that Ackles did not want to field those questions and they still tried to push them and/or appeal to a co-worker- Misha- who wasn't respecting Ackles's boundaries either by being willing to answer the questions. Too many people in fandoms especially in the LGBT side of things do not respect that the character is not the actor and that the actor is not ok with talking about certain things. Ackles was probably adamantly against it because he didn't want to be constantly talking about it or start having to field off signing porn of a ship he didn't want anything to do with if he 'accepted' it.
Another in a long line of the LGBT side, and some 'strait' fans, not respecting boundaries.
I've noticed as an outside observer of various fandom that people in the LGBT space, not just troons, love to apply LGBT HC to literally everything and are very bad at looking at any relationship that's relatively normal in terms of sibling, platonic, friendship, parental, etc. and turning it into a sexual ship. It's one of the grossest aspect of fandoms.
Duh, don't you know? A male and female characters getting close has to be platonic otherwise it's heteronormative propaganda. Same sex friendships though? They're actually deeply in love and fuck like rabbits in secret, you don't understand.I've noticed as an outside observer of various fandom that people in the LGBT space, not just troons, love to apply LGBT HC to literally everything and are very bad at looking at any relationship that's relatively normal in terms of sibling, platonic, friendship, parental, etc. and turning it into a sexual ship. Pouring some eggnog out for these poor families.
I did a character analysis somewhere, and in the notes there was someone who thought it was very good but also that they were surprised when I referred to them in a way that meant they were cis. (Pregnancy or whatever, it’s been a while.) There was literally nothing anywhere to suggest the character was trans, but this person’s friend group was so insular about it that they’d literally forgotten that anyone could have a different perspective. The funniest thing to me is genuine trans headcanons for characters who are clearly "cis," like, you couldn't cope harder if you tried.
Apparently you don’t need to be attracted to women to be a lesbian anymore. In other news, words no longer mean things. Some tweets I found while looking for it:

Bruh. Your own body forced you to go through male puberty. All your doctor did was mind his own business and the hippocratic oath by not prescribing you experimental meds.
Mom was probably like “Oh, you’re a girl now? Good. You can do the cooking this year.” She’s the only one smiling in the pics, and it’s cause she knows she got away with something. Sucks she still had to do most the cooking at her troon son’s apartment, from what it sounds like. At least she doesn’t have to clean up after everybody leaves, though. Why would you ask a tranny to host a holiday or celebration of any kind? That's just asking for trouble.
IMO I fully believe most people are secret TERFs who pretend to be supportive to save face, or at the very least indifferent because they haven't peaked yet but their opinion of troons is not the best, despite attempts at "inclusivity." Men especially, since they're less likely to be involved in that shit unless they're autistic or trannies themselves. In fact it's pretty funny, whenever a male coworker or friend finds out what my real stance on TRA is, suddenly it feels like they're actually comfortable around me now that they don't have to walk on eggshells. So yeah, I highly doubt TERFy men are the minority lol, they're just afraid to speak out like the rest of us. There is hope yet, fellow femcels.
one of my favorite things about male troons is that the only reason cooking, cleaning, working in the care professions, and raising kids (not pregnancy fetish) aren't euphoric that they're inconvenient, and they'd still rather a real woman do it because women usually know how. same with female troons, and thinking shit like shaving is validating, but not working in a coal mine, paying child support, or serving in the military. the gender coom doesn't ever extend to anything that requires actual effort, assists society, or needs to be done.Mom was probably like “Oh, you’re a girl now? Good. You can do the cooking this year.”
You aren't wrong.
My (very left-leaning, tranny infested) industry is a political minefield for this type of shit. Most people, me included, just change the topic when trans anything comes up because saying the wrong thing is an immediate unpersoning. It creates this East Berlin in the 70s type of atmosphere where you don't dare say a dissenting word to anyone you're not very close to because you don't know who's watching you and reporting to the other side.
Just the other day a guy I work with sometimes texted me asking how good I was with "analysis of the generalities of trans issues".
If I say the wrong thing, he'll spread it everywhere and my career I've worked my ass off for for over a decade is effectively done. I just responded by saying that since I'm not a trans person I generally try to stay out of it because I prefer to let them speak for themselves. He immediately starts telling me that many of the people he considered himself close to have revealed themselves as TERFs and he finds it extremely disappointing that they are still being hired.
Meanwhile, some of my closest friends and I constantly complain about troons when we get together. People with common sense are out there in droves, we just usually can't or won't reveal ourselves because the backlash is not worth it.
But UCL’s management instead sided with the academic board, which voted against retaining links after an anonymous ballot.
