That's certainly true, but the big advantage is you cut the odds of catching it and if you're regularly testing you can notify your friends/colleagues you've got it. Whereas if you're the sort who doesn't take it seriously you're social group can turn onto a typhoid mary, especially with asymptomatic anti maskers/vaxxers.
