Awful food you love - Guilty pleasures galore

Fried chicken liver. The easiest and most nutritious warm meal ever, not even requiring cutting/chopping unless you wanna get fancy and add onions. Just dump the contents of a 1lb package on a hot pan, turn em over after a few minutes, add salt and lots of pepper, turn off the hot plate, wait for a few more minutes, done. Serve on paper plates with ramen or rice or whatever. Practically lived on that shit for two years when in college.

The gas station down the street sells these pre-made chicken salad sandwiches in their cooler that are like $2.00 and have a sell by date of like a month and a half. Love that shit. Also these. Not only is it admittedly fucking disgusting, it's insanely overpriced. I still eat like one a week though.

Fuckin' gas station food.
Hot wings
Hotdogs
Some cheese fuck thing with meat wrapped and fried
It's all great, especially if you've had a few drinks.
Fuck man, I ate lunch at 7/11 every single day during my internship. Half because I was too lazy (incompetent) to pack a lunch and half because you couldn't use any tobacco products on the property. We only got half an hour for lunch, and I would run to my car, pack a huge lip, chain smoke a couple Parliaments while I drove frantically to the 7/11, spend like $12 on four of those Tornado things on the roller grill, a couple donuts, and a soda, shovel it down while I sped back to work, and made it back with like 2 minutes to spare. Every day. Good times.

sorry for double post

Slim Jims or any similar compressed beef stick presented as "jerky". They're so good but that thick, orange oil that sometimes sneaks its way out is a reminder that I'm intentionally clogging my arteries and that's fine.

Cold hot dogs, straight from the fridge, preferably while your face is still in the fridge.
I grew up with a lot of Slavic peasant foods, so a few things already mentioned here or similar I wouldn't even think to call "awful". We not only had blood sausage, but we also had a lovely dish called Czarnina (the Cz is like English Ch) which is soup made of duck or goose blood. It's surprisingly sweet and more black than red.
Salceson or head cheese is another one that I absolutely love but there's a few reasons to get squeamish about this. There's no cheese in it, but a lot of head meat. My memory is fuzzy on it being made, but it starts off as a slurry of bone and gristle boiled for a really long time (maybe over a day) that gets filtered and the meat cut off the head is thrown in and allowed to congeal. The result is a thick pork jello with chunks of meat, most of which look like any other chunk of pork, but every once in a while, you find a piece and say "that was definitely part of the snout". It really just tastes like meaty jello with chunks of pork in it.
The relatives from further south in Europe had tripe soups, which was about as interesting as it got with them. Both sides of the family used intestines as sausage casing.

Stouffers Lasagna specifically the cheese lovers one. I never put em in the microwave though, takes much longer to do it in the oven but I prefer to cook food that way.
And there's also these ''Breakfast Bowls'' from Jimmy Dean. I pop THOSE in the microwave for 2 minutes and they're fucking good to be honest. The meat lovers one has sausage, diced potatoes, shredded cheese and eggs. So, so bad for you. And the sodium.. forget about it.

The only things I really make in the microwave are things that can't be cooked in the oven, soup or if I'm warming up shitty Little Caesars (which I have to admit, if you're broke and hungry is pretty decent)

salmiakki licorice
marmite
peanut butter and mayo sandwiches(often with ham)
stale bread soaked in milk and sugar/cocoa
tripe stew
Something non-Slavs may find gross and is a staple for this time of year and Easter - French/Russian/Olivier salad
