💬 Off-Topic Troon sightings in the wild

From the new employee handbooks at my work. Pronoun stickers.

Not really anything to write home about but the last one? Honestly fuck off w/ that shit my guy. We are at work and ain't nobody got time to discuss your pronouns. Pick a pronoun, not a whole ass conversation.

this isn't that exciting but i recently saw a blond middle aged troon with wavy hair in front of the GAP, looking lost like he was a paid greeter. i was actually worried to go near him and into the store because no normal person stands right in front of the doors like that. they remove panhandlers but he wasn't even asking for money. just standing there staring and looking agitated.

The only troon I've ever met was this lanky faggot who was on the same organized trip to Greece. He presented masculine (with hair in a ponytail), and only switched to his "girl mode" in the hotel. He was accompanied by his plus-size girlfriend, and it was obvious that it was her who wore the pants in the relationship – she was taller, heavier and stronger than him, and it was her who talked to other people when they were together. He dressed as a man again on the way back.

Our interactions were absolutely minimal, so I can't say much more. I don't even know how he identified, but who cares.

By his appearance, he kinda reminded me of that hentai-fapping weeb I had to share room in the dorm for a year (luckily he was more absent than present, and it was the other roommate who caught him in the act). I think those were two different people, but I am not 100% sure. It would be some cosmic sense of humor if it was him.

That's what I find so strange about this shit. Transsexuals used to be fairly rare and tried hard as fuck to look the part.
Why the hell did wanting to chop your dick off while being an ugly bald fuck end up becoming so popular?
They tend to congregate in the major cities. Mostly for the nightclubs.

Knew someone back in uni who was in the process of trooning out at the time (he got groomed by Reddit, I noticed before he came out he would look at stuff like r/egg_irl and such), got his name on the uni system changed and started growing out his hair. All this despite him having a blatantly male jawline/general facial features with some pretty bad pizza face. I don't think he had even gotten HRT or such since waiting times are that long here, that or he would've just gotten them by home cookers.

He also started getting weirdly obsessive towards me, and attempted to groom me into it too but I immediately cut contact with him when he started with that.

Pretty standard cult behavior. Also, keep in mind that when it comes to narcs, misery loves company.

I'm glad you had the sense to cut contact right off the bat, as many people are afraid to. Or worse, they get sucked into the cult.

Thankfully I could get away with just being avoidant with interacting with them since I only ever ran into them at uni.

I'm not sure why they even bothered with trying to groom me considering I was known for holding conservative opinions, then again he always treated me strangely, the guy very obviously had autism (unsurprisingly).

I've been to a few gaming conventions and you always see em' walking through the crowd. Never had to interact though.

Was on a service call at a business and saw what initially looked to be a fat, ugly, middle-aged woman. When I went to go do my work, I suddenly heard a deep, unmistakably male voice and thought "wait, I only saw women working here? ...maybe the owner or something came in". Then the alleged woman came around, I heard the voice again from that same direction, and immediately I put two and two together. Oh, and the business was a mental health clinic.

Also had one come into our shop to drop off a dead gaming PC. This one was at least trying to change his voice, but his height and shape still gave him away. Once he left, morbid curiosity took over and I started digging through his hard drive, though all I really saw were a few furry porn games and some Discord memes. I should've booted from it just to see what I'd find there.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that one of the games was that Valhalla visual novel shit.
I'm correct, aren't I?

I encountered one at some political protest thing. We were discussing Brexit and he got really grumpy. Later on Twitter (where else) he whined that my pals and I had misgendered him.
I don't think I ever called him any gendered language (why would I, I said "you"). Also, through the whole interaction, I had no clue he was even pretending to be a woman, I just assumed he was a longhaired student guy.

I've helped out with a few feminist events in the city and there's always a gaggle of troons who show up to yell at it every time, no matter what the issue is, demanding... something? I think they want to be included in everything, even if it doesn't have anything to do with them. Let the men into your lesbian groups, antenatal classes, cervical cancer recovery groups etc., they're gurlz too you know.
This pronouns shit has always confused me. Pronouns are only ever used if you're talking in the second person (IE: to someone else about you) and if I'm talking to someone else I'm just going to say what I want.

I live in a rural area and have seen a couple over the past 5 years or so when I've gone to a nearby liberal leaning town. I don't count the clearly mentally ill guy who's been walking around Main St forever. He has a TBI from a car accident or something.

The only interaction I've had with ttroons was at the doctor's office. I saw them walk in from a distance an thought it was a bit odd to see two old ladies going together, but maybe one couldn't drive or something. They were dressed like grandmas, had long hair, and were wearing makeup. One looked in his 40s and the other mid to late 20s. The older one was on the phone talking loudly to I presume his wife about bank troubles and how someone must have hacked their account. What little I listened to didn't make much sense and it seemed like he wasn't all there.

Old troon hangs up and a minute or so later I hear a phone beep like someone got a text. When it happens again I hear someone, younger troon, say something like "I think your phone is beeping". I ignore him because it obviously isn't my phone. I'm looking at it. Older troon's phone goes off a third time and younger troon repeats himself. At this point I look up from my phone and younger troon is staring at me and repeats himself now definitely addressing me. I'd assumed he was talking to his friend. I tell him it wasn't my phone.

Young troon looks confused and the phone goes off again. Older troon suddenly realizes it's his phone and starts texting someone. Nothing outlandish. This town is pretty evenly split liberal/conservative and it's the most liberal around. Younger troon seemed to be on the spectrum and older troon seemed not all with it. It was about what I expected considering I wasn't in a city or on a college campus.

I only ever saw one extremely low effort troon. Clocked him from 50ish yards away from his walk despite the dress. No effort to take care of his appearance, at least 2 days of stubble, looked like your average twitter agp.

This was at a gp, btw. I'm not trooning out.

In a word, academia. In my time at various academic institutions, and boy is institution the right word to use, I have seen troons on a near weekly basis. Most of these are the comp sci skinny white guy with dyed hair and a shitty push up bra types or other generally dull ones. Sometimes you get the tall, masculine types that couldn't pass to save their lives and speak with a laughable falsetto. But there are two that still burn brightly in my memory years after the incidents.

The first was an overweight white guy. Without knowing any better, you'd think he were the typical cheeto's dusted neckbeard who plays way too much magic the gathering. Well, that was until he started bringing his bad dragon dildo into the college cafeteria and showing it off. No one reacted to it very strongly. Then again, this was an old fashioned Southern town that was blissfully unfamiliar with troons, furries, and other such deviants. He'd later mention that he was on HRT, which was probably the only reason anyone would think he was trans. Not sure why he wanted the estrogen, he already had perfectly serviceable man tits from being a 300 lb land whale.

The second could best be summarized as an anglophile tumblr doctor wholock larper. She was fairly short and came in wearing a bow tie and men's formal wear. You'd think she'd just stepped off of a doctor who set the way she was dressed. She was introduced by another girl as her "boyfriend" and felt the need to loudly declare to the room that she was actually a man.
Oh god, you reminded me of a load of people I hung out with at university years ago. Some I'm still in contact with and are good friends, others have trooned out and cut contact with anyone who isn't a true believer in gender woo. The men are all typical autogynephile programming socks goblins, and the women are all lesbians trying to go back in the closet by (badly) larping as straight men. I feel sorry for the lesbian TIFs, but they act like the douchiest stereotypes of men to try to pass, and that gets annoying fast.

eta: I do know a TIM who's alright, he just picked the name his parents would've called him if he'd been female, isn't a creep and doesn't obsess over troonery. I don't really think of him as a troon. He is a trans, but he doesn't proselytise or even talk about it much, and he doesn't use women-only spaces. Mostly we talk about foraging and crafts, he and his missus run a small farm and do woodworking and things.

Última edición:
Only ever known one, at a factory where I was doing seasonal work. They were a MTF between 6'2-6'4, the object of much ridicule when out of earshot.

Of the 15 people on my section including the manager not one gave a single fuck about the jokes we cracked about him apart from the time I suggested he'd been looking lustfully at a bloke who was ≈5'3 then there was 14 people laughing and one looking concerned.

I lived in Southeast Asia for a while so I saw a quite a few trannies but nothing like the AGP horror shows you get in the states. My "favorite" encounter in America was at the zoo like a year ago. I see a tall, young blond man in a skirt with his girlfriend and get a bit closer to see if he was a troon or not. He had ratty long hair, was wearing all pink and spoke in a nasally fake high pitched voice, which is how I realized he was trying to be a woman and not just a broad shouldered man rocking a skirt. His girlfriend definitely could've done better than him and I did spend the rest of the day wondering how long the relationship was going to last.

I live in a very progressive college town now so I'm surprised I don't see many troons here. I guess they're mostly no effort FTMs and NBs. Even the academics I interact with are relatively normal.

My sister apparently claims to be an enby. She's a narcissist attention seeker, always has been, so this doesn't surprise me. For instance, she claims to be a lesbian despite being married to a man. (Then again, if I was stuck married to that disgusting landwhale, I'd probably think I was a lesbian too.) Other claims include: our parents beat her in her childhood (absolutely false - my parents are good people and have always tried to do the best for us), that she is a recovering anorexic (no), and that she has PTSD because I told her to stop coming to my friends' meetups. She may have stopped making some of these claims lately, but it's basically just "oppression of the week" type shit.

While she's more tomboyish than I am, there is zero doubt that she is a woman. Thankfully she has never "come out" to me as nb, because she probably knows that I would just roll my eyes and go, "Yeah no." But I found her instagram and she claims to be nonbinary there, except she says "any pronouns are fine." So once again, just another zero-effort oppression notch on her belt.

I saw a troon with some actual girls (who were probably there out of pity) ordering a ridiculous sub at a Subway.

He was clearly a man, probably in his early 20's with a dark-colored skirt, pasty white hairy legs, sandals without socks, and a pink spaghetti strap tank-top thing with obviously wide shoulders jutting out. You could tell he was a man by looking at his elbows, knees, the back of his head, his jaw, his musculature, or by his clearly man-like skin complexion. His hair had shitty bleached tips that frizzed out everywhere in some half-ass bun, and he kept leaning heavily on one leg like a limp fag.
His voice was whiney and clearly male attempting to act female, and he kept lifting his heel up from his sandals so you could see his callous male heels.

When it came time for him to order, he asked for a foot-long with a literal mountain of olives, a couple fistfuls of banana peppers, and a bunch of other stuff. He had to keep saying "more olives" about five times while the employee looked more and more concerned about the size of the enormous sub they were creating.

The employee did his best to fold the sub, but failed, and it had to be crammed into the sub bag half-folded.

I feel bad for the Subway employees, it would suck to have to take orders from freaks.
