The amount of gaslighting and misdirection from the media during this case has been amazing, even by their standards.

• They make the story about race, even though race is only a tangental factor since it took place during the "Mostly Peaceful" burnings and lootings in the name of St. Floyd. Those that were shot were all white, and its clear to anyone that saw the video that the motivating factor was not race, but rather self preservation. They label Kyle a white supremacist, a sentiment uttered by the current president, and yet there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that is the case. Trust me, if it was there, they'd be plastering it everywhere.
• They spent most of last year telling us that cops are bad and racist and need to be defunded. Now they are telling us that playing vigellante is wrong and if we see anything, we need to call the cops and that's what Kyle should have done.
• They outright lie about the video despite what is clearly in front of the eyes of anyone watching. Kyle did not pursue them, they pursued and attacked him.
• They go out of their way to cover up any of the wrong doings of the attackers, either during the events of that fateful day or before and act like it is immaterial and we shouldn't be talking about it at all. This coming from a media that LOVES to take stuff from the past and twist it around to make someone look bad

The media relies so much on ignorance and lack of memory to push their narratives and its insulting to anyone that's actually paying attention. The fact that you have Ana Kasperian saying that she was wrong in her reporting of the video almost a year after the fact tells me that she never bothered to watch it until recently, despite commenting and reporting on it for the entire time. You also have people on Twitter saying they didn't know until just now that all the people Kyle shot were white, and it shows how how the media prays on low information people who do not do the fucking research.

There is a disturbing amount of people that just read headlines and believe what they are told. So much of what the media says is pure horseshit and easily provable as such.
