I was thinking of Jace the other day and the grandness of his canard, unmatched in internet history. It made me wonder if there where any other cows that where later confirmed to be performance artists as well?

There was a guy named Daxflame on youtube a few years back who was this super spergy teenager who posted a bunch of rants about his failure to make friends. He would get really mad and overreact to things and it was pretty hilarious. It turned out a few years later that he was an actor.

Yeah, it was Don Roberts. Supposedly, he was an autistic kid who was obsessed with Sonic and Michael Jackson. It was a very obvious ruse, seeing as he spammed old Chris Chan references right out of the gate. ED seems to be the only site that ever cared about him, seeing as they made a page about him almost instantly. He was only around for the last half of 2014, and hasn't made a video in 9 months.

Who other than your host, the man they call Ghost the Hambone? I remember there was a whole thing about after the show was canned, Ghost admitted on tinychat that whilst the politics on the show were real, the tardrage present in True Capitalist Radio was fabricated for the most part just to increase viewership.

The bad-fanfic writer Peter Chimaera (of "and then John was a zombie" fame) was just all troll-fics. He never came out publicly but if you search his site hard enough you will eventually stumble upon his forums where he admitted Peter was a silly alter ego used to parody shitty fanfic writers and troll fan-fic.net

He also did Half-Life Full Life Consequences (and a lot of their sequels) and DOOM: Repercussions of Evil by Squirrel King. The actual writer was an established writer who decided to troll on Something Awful with his bad fan fiction, when it picked up steam and people tried to get in contact with Squirrel King the guy was "It was me all along!"
