Either way, FMJ rounds overpenetrate, and feasibly does less damage than hollowpoints. Hollowpoints basically shatter on impact and do a lot of damage to flesh, but can't do shit to armor or material.

Still, a .223 round is gonna "vaporize" anyone's muscle at close range like that.

He used FMJ, as far as I can tell this is because FMJ is much cheaper, the rifle was intended for range shooting, and he just used what he had when he went to Kenosha, rather than going to Walmart and buying a new box of Hollows.
