The worst thing about the closing statement is that the prosecutors get to do it twice if they want as they're allowed to make a rebuttal to the defense teams closing argument.
 
No way in holy hell I'm going to listen to Bumfucker verbally vomit his Tourette's all over the jury and hell's half acre for 2.5 hours. I'll tune in for the defense 2.5 and then watch Bootylicker flail for however much time he has saved from his 2.5 to try and rebut.

Which won't work. There was a ton of it before the Chauvin trial even started, even weeks and months before the trial there was threats of riots, increasing tension, oaths of violence. It was pervasive everywhere.


Fuck all none of that here! it wasn't until halfway -through the trial- that they even -started-. And nowhere -near- as bad.

I can’t imagine how much it must suck to be on the jury right now. Going through this snooze fest for over a week only for them to say “Here’s another 5 hours straight of talking about things you already heard. Make sure you pay attention!” I would just go home and lay in bed the rest of the day

It's handled in motions, which it doesn't seem we'll be seeing. I think that's what they're doing right now. The jury was still around, so he didn't say what, but the judge is talking to the lawyers now.
