LittleBinger is profoundly unlikeable, which seems a terrible trait for a trial lawyer. Being likable is probably the single most important trait for a trial lawyer and this guy straight up doesn’t have it. He has this vaguely effeminate smarmy aura that makes everything he says sound prissy.

I've seen plenty of prosecutors. You can make the exact same arguments Binger is making without seeming like a Cartoon Villian. It's his tonality.

It seems his current plan is to just torture him with the footage and make him upset with the intention of making it seem like he's upset from guilt as well as nitpicking what he said in a literal heat of the moment situation to stop a literal mob from killing him. It's just awful honestly.

I don't think Kyle had any intention of going down there to kill anyone, at least not in the cold-blooded way the prosecutors are trying to argue.
I think he genuinely did want to help. The problem arose when he got down there, and reality set in.
He was a short, pudgy, middle-class, white kid with let's face it, a big scary-looking gun, and he was surrounded by fire, and a mob of angry people who hate people like him, and he didn't realize that until it was too late, and now he, his family, and victims' families are dealing with the consequences.
