I'm sorry for replying months after you made this post but I wanted to say thank you cause I just had a gut feeling they were trans from the way they looked in the few, small photos I saw. Honestly, I didn't even know which voice was theirs in the dubs until I figured out they were Sonic who obviously sounded male, but part of me was like "maybe they're just a masculine sounding woman.
