They know perfectly well how they look, they just don't have any in-person experience with them (not that that is bad in and of itself). Most or all of their formative sexual experiences have been on a screen.

People blame porn for this and while I agree porn does fuck people up, I don't think porn alone explains the kind of disconnect from reality that leads to troonery, at least when you are defining porn as just explicit images and videos. I think it is more generally an addiction to a fantasy world, whether it's "traditional" porn or fanfiction or erotic furry art or roleplay or whatever.

The thing is that porn and fanfiction and the like have been around and readily accessible for a while now, so why are they just now destroying people's grasp on reality?

It really goes in on describing his grotesqueness, having a big burly man body squeezed into a dress. There's been a lot of seething that this didn't result in her cancellation because she's an established multi-millionaire and putting her name on anything still results in ludicrous sales figures even if the output isn't very good.

I'd say smartphones and laptops have a role to play, it's so much easier to be permanently online now (and it's so much more common to be permanently online now, normies all have social media) and a lot of young adults have grown up with that in their formative years.

The book is called Troubled Blood, and furthermore was based on a couple of real world killers (who, for the record, are crossdressers but not known to be troons). Note the description of the first (my own emphasis added):

I bought her newest novel but I haven't read it because I don't really care for her writing. But I will gladly show support with my wallet especially since troons were raging so hard when it came out. The book was on the local best-sellers list for a long time, which pleased me greatly.

There's actually not as much varience between head sizes as you'd think. Most average adults have a head circumference of ~22-24 inches. Children aren't too much smaller, a child of only 7-8 has a head that's about 18 inches around. Women don't necessarily have smaller heads either, my husband and I both have a 22 inch head.

Physically disabled, certainly. In every culture's mythology where there's a god (or more rarely a godess) of tool making/smithing, they are always disabled. Usually lame, but Vulcan's got a club foot, Hephestus has a hunchback.

That millenia old universal trope came from somewhere.
 
I love that the other day I told people that as a victim of sexual assault that I wouldn't feel comfortable with a fetishistic troon like Jim Sterling using the same restroom as me. Some male English troon defender (starting to see why Null hates the English) told me that they wouldn't want to use the same bathroom with a bigot like me and told me to deal with it and not get in the way of these stunning and brave troons happiness.
