Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

Considering that more conservatives are moving to red states, Texas and Florida will never turn blue but let's see what happens in the future.
FL is definitely getting redder. Massive number of conservative retirees moved down here the past year to escape lockdowns.

TX is more up in the air. It'd definitely be bluer if Democrats were any good at Hispanic outreach, but they're not.

Also, alongside retirees are the Cubans of South Florida. They're a political force to be reckoned with down there, and even a lot of the younger ones are still eager to join the cult

The problem is Democrats think the Hispanic population is a shoe-in, they didn't even try in Florida.

That's because, like you said, there's a lot of Cubans in Miami who think Joe Biden is the reincarnation of Castro. I doubt he'll ever win them. (Which is a shame, because it's led him to be worse on Cuba than Obama was. I wanted a continuation of Obama's Cuba policies.)

Even though cities like Austin and Dallas are blue cities I doubt that Texas will turn fully blue in the next few years.
MAGA rap is low quality, throwaway, made for tiktok shit. It would be completely unbearable if it didn't make Anthony Fantano and friends sperg out. The let's go brandon and Tom Macdonald stuff is lame and corny, but pays dividends in the 10 minute butthurt videos it produces on youtube. Then for a third layer on the cringe sandwich, you can read the comments in response to the original music videos about how people don't normally like that cRap music, but this young fella' seems to have a head on his shoulders.

Every single facet of maga rap draws in the world's most awkward human beings and it's a joy to behold.

I think you could deliberately produce crappy, unlistenable music and get people to buy it if it was pro-Trump.

Even if Texas does turn blue there are other conservative states out there, paleocons just love to fearmonger people.
Texas isn't going to turn blue, at least not in the sense that usually means. They may elect more Democrats at the federal level, but those Democrats will have to adopt more conservative positions than Democrats in traditionally blue states to peel off enough of the Hispanic voters who got here legally who are generally quite socially conservative and do not cotton to all this troon shit and other nonsense common among Democrats at the federal level.

So there might be another Democrat in the Senate or two, but they'll be the Joe Manchin kind, just named Jose instead.
The problem is Democrats think the Hispanic population is a shoe-in, they didn't even try in Florida.
Hispanics in Florida are quite often Cuban and utterly detest Communists and consider Democrats basically just an American form of Communist.

Your thinking is outdated. You make poppy, clippable shit for tiktok now that drives views to your youtube video, where you make $13 per 1000 views. The original video for the song linked above has 3.4 million views and earned the artist 100k subs, which is about $42000 cash in pocket as of today, plus long tail income for additional views and views on other videos from the new subscribers.

That's much better income than the alternative, because no way are you getting 42000 people to pay a dollar for this song on iTunes.

If there’s one thing anyone knew about Joe Biden before 2008, it was his autistic love for trains. Dude rode an Amtrack to work every morning (when he was a senator). They let him ride in the head car once and apparently he wouldn’t shut the fuck up about it for a week. Like, Biden fucking LOVES trains, him endorsing them is maybe the least surprising thing in the world.

Rap nowadays has turned commercial and horrible to listen to. This is no different.

Don't be retarded, all music is commercial. Any artist or band pushing the story that it's all about the art is grifting you even harder than those who are open about wanting to get paid. Everyone wants to get paid. It's weird when people buy hook, line, and sinker into the paper thin art over profit aesthetic of someone like Lana Del Rey when she turns 10 mil in sales on an album, and markets that aesthetic relentlessly.

I say commercial, I mean it all blurs together. No originality, no soul, no substance. I heard the rap song. I thought it was corny.

Yeah it is, but that's more to do with the song's market intent than it's substance. There's a certain type of song right now composed of easily clippable 20-40 second bits that basically exists for the purpose of being used in tiktoks, especially if there's an easibly mimable dance element or easily replicable type of videography to go along with it. A great example of this is Ariana Grande's Positions:

There are 1.2 million tiktok clips using just the chorus of this song as the audio, and combined they had over 100 billion views. That's billion, with a B. Nothing else operates at the scale of Tiktok.

What I'm trying to get at here is how this drives the kind of music that gets made. The shit is corny because the made for tiktok stuff is meant to be easily dissected for creating shitty little 30 second videos on big china app.

Imagine losing an election to a senile exceptional individual and pretending the reason you lost is you were cheated instead of just facing the fact you're a fucking loser who lost because you sucked and were a completely shitty failure of a President, the literal Republican Jimmy Carter, a one-term loser.
At least Jimmy’s personality redeems him.

Glad to see the autists of the world still haven't shaken off their train obsession

Conservatives can't feel like men unless they're driving a three-ton pickup down to the post office ten feet from their home.

Anyone left of Ronald Reagan is the reincarnation of Castro to South Florida Cubans. They make Florida a challenge for any Democrat, although Puerto Ricans have been moving to Central Florida in large numbers since hurricane Maria and they generally vote blue. So while Cubans will vote red for generations, Central Florida is going to be able to hold it's own political sway in the coming years.

This may be TMI, but it's not that Democrats aren't good at Hispanic outreach down here, it's that Hispanics down here aren't some megalithic entity that all thinks the same. The idea of old school "Hispanic" communities (aka like African American ones in the North East) that really doesn't exist down here. We live everywhere (rural strongholds in South Texas to Urban areas). Many of us have been here for generations and even those who are recent immigrants (especially the ones who have money) are pretty conservative (little "c") when it comes to, say, abortion or policing. We have lots of Hispanic ranchers down here too. That demographic tends to be more conservative (like white Ranchers).

And I'm gonna add one more TMI, I used to do legal work for Mexican immigrants, not poor ones. These are the folks fleeing cartels and trying to get their families in a safe place. They move to rich suburbs and have strong ties back home, but they are conservative. They want strong policing, good schools, etc. They tend to view themselves more as "white" than an oppressed minority. So yeah....Texas.

The funny thing is that African American communities tend to be very conservative in nature. They’re not down with homosexuality and drag queens. They tend to go to church regularly. The community tends to look out for each other and not rely on the government.

It’s kinda hilarious that Dave Chappelle gets so much shit when he’s just saying what most black people think. If Republicans even put in one iota of effort they could snag a surprising amount of the black vote just on their shared hatred of woke nonsense (of course at this point they can’t because they’re so beholden to their racist white base, but theoretically).
