Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Under most circumstances, I'd say the Democrats are doomed and we'd be looking at two decades of uninterrupted Republican reign. It is a condemnation of the modern iteration of the Republican party that I cannot. Though Trump is doing his best to bring it about.

This thread is actively chronicling the fall of an age and the ushering in of what comes after. It shows, in gritty detail, the horrors of what that means and the cost in real human lives it shall toll. Is it any wonder that it would be here you see how dark it is before the dawn?
Yep. I think I really can't stand politication scumbags playing games with average people. Or the fact that a man who should be in a retirement home is the current face of the country.

So yeah this thread really shows alot

Dude take your own advice and take a vacation, holy shit.

I did a while back, went on a week-long, no technology foresting trip. Was great, was cathartic, was relaxing. Well, except the short bit some idiot decided to jump off a cliff onto the water and shattered his leg. That was just stupid.

Right, so there’s the end of his age and the toll in a human life. An idiot did something and the expected backlash crippled him. Most of your posts describe the democrats doing exactly that, no need to go all end of an age on us.

An end of an age is not necessarily a bad thing, though they tend to be ugly. The age of American dominance is, in one way or another, at its end. You have titans rising in the east, an EU seeking to make itself more relevant as an international body, and too many issues at home that need to be addressed. The Democrats who have largely overseen that age and won its cultural battles now desperately cling to power as it stripped from them, lashing out at anything which dares challenge them.

This is an end of an age. The question now is whether this is the last throes of a corrupt system before a better age takes its place. Or will those who could bring about such an age fail and lead into one of darker issues.

Personally, I actually lean towards the former, at least tentatively. The numbers show Trump's populist wing gaining power in 2022 to at least form the sizeable minority they need to beat the RINOs for good. But just because I have a slight optimism doesn't mean I cannot acknowledge the turn of the wheel or the cost of its turning.

We have several metric shit tons of nukes. Like Russia. We may fade but we will never be irrelevant and we can always come back from this. Again, just like Russia.

Exactly. We will simply no longer be the biggest bastard on a global stage. I can accept this, so long as we address our issues at home and ensure we are not pushed into irrelevance with this "Managed decline" bullshit.

Can the American ecosystem survive not sucking in every cheap worker to our economy and smart foreigner into our universities?

Yes, and how. Trump was actively addressing the first with a record low unemployment. The second can be addressed by eliminating CRT bullshit and focusing less on "You -have- to get a degree" and more on specific degrees to fill out needed positions. It'd take about a decade, but we do not lack for manpower or skill.

Honestly, let the rest of the world deal with their own issues. America has size and geography on its side - even if there WERE a world power that is openly hostile to America and intent on invading the American mainland (which, no, China and Russia have zero interest in doing), they’re gonna have a hell of a time trying.

America has played world police for too long, and has gotten little thanks for it. Let’s see the rest of the world play without America’s aid for a half a century or so.

I have no doubt you’re more equipped to talk political or historical events than I am, but the garbage currently happening? To me it’s just the aftermath of realizing around a decade ago that China was taking all of our IP.

You forget russia was part of Soviet union . The largest and the most dominant culture also with most territory. Soviet union broke so will you.

Usa at best will be disunited states at worst warring city states . Most likely split along cultural lines , Midwest, east coast , west coast and the south . USA is not culturally united and will not stay together when money dry up you have nothing in common.

The reason why Gehenna sounds so black pilled he knows its coming, everyone knows its coming . There is no coming back from it unlike Russia you have no common anything to keep you together and the south and Midwest was shat on for almost 4 decades systematically on their culture and values . If this was a relationship most women would walk out the minute the man loses his job or empire .

And broken in pieces makes you weak and irrelevant. Tbh is not a bad thing as long as you aren't under someone's thumb which is going to be kinda hard in certain areas .

China's rise is part of the cause of the new age. A Europe ravaged by war, a slowly falling USSR eventually destroyed, this age has been the American Age, a century of America's rise to true international power and eventually it eclipsing all and becoming -the- global hegemon. But now other powers rise, and China is foremost among them. The next age will be the competition of superpowers once again, as historically has always occurred. Many competing nations eventually result in one gaining true dominance, eventually, decadence sets in and in an ugly process its global power is reduced aided by the rise of new major nations, this results once again in many nations competing. It is a cycle.

The nations which enjoyed power the longest were able to move with this cycle, looking inward as their power waned only to come back strong and inherit the title of hegemon again.

The reason why Gehenna sounds so black pilled he knows its coming, everyone knows its coming . There is no coming back from it unlike Russia you have no common anything to keep you together and the south and Midwest was shat on for almost 4 decades systematically on their culture and values . I am hardly black pilled, merely pragmatic on the costs of an age's turn. Despite the thrashing of the democrats, the vast majority of the U.S. is nowhere near as deeply divided as it may seem. We still share a common identity of Ameriocan. Though those loudest minorities may make one think that is not so.

I generally disagree that the US will stop being the biggest bastard on the global stage - But the era of American dominance is coming to an end as it is currently know. The US will likely continue to be the single biggest superpower for the time to come, but not at the "I can literally fuck with every global power simultaneously and still come out ahead" levels like it held coming out of the cold war. They'll have to actually play the game again.

And you beat me to it while I was writing this up :P

This is exactly what needs to happen, but not because I think the US needs to step out of peoples business. Rather, I think the US needs to see the other parts of the world fail and struggle to realize just how good the system they have is (aside from the last decade of being torched by the democrats). That realization would, with any luck, lead to a less destructive attitude overall. Propping up bad systems and policies as the world police only makes those bad policies look like viable options.

Does anyone else find it odd that the AZ audit results got blown off so fast? Is anything being done with the results?
Yes to your last question, right now AZ is still deciding -what- to do with it. They haven't stopped and even recently they said they are looking into Pima County. They are under no time pressure so can take their time. Which sadly means it'll move at the speed of politics.

Trump Starts Media Group, 'Truth Social' Platform

Former President Donald Trump has announced the Trump Media & Technology Group, merging with Digital World Acquisition Corp. to become a publicly listed company with a potential valuation of up to $1.7 billion.

A new social media platform called Truth Social is set to launch in early 2022, to compete with the likes of Facebook and Twitter — two sites that have left the former president banned — along with a ''subscription video on demand service'' to rival Google's YouTube.

''I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech,'' Trump wrote in the announcement Wednesday night. ''We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced.

''This is unacceptable.''

Trump calls this a fulfilling of a promise to create a conservative media competitor to combat the liberal activism against his administration and in the 2020 presidential campaign.

''I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon,'' Trump added. ''TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I'm excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech.

''Everyone asks me why doesn't someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!''

The subscription video-on-demand service will be called TMTG+.

''TMTG+ will feature 'non-woke' entertainment programming, news, podcasts, and more,'' according to the news release.

Trump has already launched class-action lawsuits against Big Tech companies for their responses to conservative views and speech.

''Truth Social is America's 'Big Tent' social media platform that encourages an open, free, and honest global conversation without discriminating against political ideology,'' the Truth Social website reads, allowing future users to register early for the initial wait list.

Whoever came up with the name needs to jump off a cliff.

Sorta adding on to that, I really hope we’ll stop with the whole “bringing democracy to shithole nations” thing as if that’ll actually solve their problems. I’m firmly of the belief that democracy is not a one-size-fits-all system of governance that is the best choice for all nations. Democracy is incredibly inefficient, and wealthy first-world countries can deal with those inefficiencies, but if you’re a developing nation, you don’t always have the privilege of waiting for everyone to be happy about the proposed course of action.

They'll be more open, but I guarantee you that I'd still be too far right for them. And I'm not that extreme.

Last time time i checked sounds and is meaning differently. I might be wrong after all i am just a slav .

O really care to explain why several states are literally breaking away openly in terms of policy starting from unemployment lockdown money, to trannies in sports and vax mandates? You also have read history and every time empire falls almost inevitably shatters to pieces regardless of how you look at it.
