Malnutrition largely just means an imbalance of nutrients and usually means you don't get enough nutrients, but you can also have malnutrition if you overindulge on nutrients. I can also imagine if you feast on the same slop 24/7 you won't be getting some nutrients, causing undernutrition despite being obese.

Yes, it's important to note I am not talking just about lack of nutrition, but idiots eating McDonald and hot Cheetos their entire life. It's not just a lack of nutrients, though that is an issue on it's own, it's about including a large range of "nutrients" that don't belong there, thus leading to inflammation, thus leading to oxidization, thus leading to cell damage, and thus leading to cancer.

Eat meat and veggies that aren't full of frakenfood and pesticides and you'll probably be fine, the incidents of cancer that are genuine gene-level copying errors are significantly rare, however the drive for society to be pushed away from understanding that the food is the issue is funded primarily by junk food companies, and they are very effective at it. Never forget that a large portion of the companies that make junk food today made cigarettes in the past.
