Stuttering John is a former Z-list celebrity who now acts the fool on his shitty political podcast to the delight of his thousands of detractors. He’s also threatened more lawsuits than I’ve had hot dinners. I’m sure many of you are thinking that ‘thin-skinned political podcasters’ are a dime-a-dozen these days, and you’re right, but John’s recent escalations – including the fact that he’s now hiring thugs to threaten people who mock him online – have convinced me that this guy deserves a thread.
A Brief History of Dumb
John has a long history of buffoonery stretching all the way back to the nineties. He’s actually one of the luckiest guys on the planet, somehow getting himself hired by the biggest radio show in history (the Howard Stern Show) because he had a stutter. That is not a joke, Howard didn’t even interview the guy before hiring him.

On the show John mainly worked as a call screener, occasionally doing segments where he asked celebrities confrontational questions at red carpet events and to his credit, these bits were funny. Here’s a small selection:
In a move that baffled everyone (except John), Jay Leno hired John to be the new announcer for The Tonight Show. Jay thought that John wrote all the questions from his celebrity interviews and believed that he was hiring a comedian. The reality is that John was just a mouthpiece who read the questions that Howard and show comedians wrote for him.
Here’s John’s first day on the Tonight Show:
Jay seemed to realize that he’d hired a lemon very quickly. John was shelved to the writer’s room, where he contributed nothing until Jay left the tonight show in 2009.
Over the next ten-or-so years, the following would occur:
- John got divorced from his wife and lost half his money.
- He burnt bridges with everyone from the Howard Stern show.
- His daughter came out as a lesbian, then a ftm tranny and cut her tits off.
- John burnt bridges all over Hollywood, he was fired from the Stephanie Miller show for getting drunk at work.
- Donald Trump was elected president and John developed a severe case of TDS.

Although he claims it’s a political podcast John gets shitfaced every episode and constantly rants about trolls and threatens anyone who criticizes him with a lawsuit.

His podcasts are usually hours long, thankfully there are dedicated trolls who provide highlight reels. Here are two recent examples:

Rise of the Dabblers:
His buffoonish behavior has resulted in a number of other Youtube channels covering him, the two biggest being Who Are These Podcasts? (Link - A) and The Shuli Show (Link - A).
As far as I can tell neither of these guys fuck with John directly, they just cover his nonsense. Both channels are far more successful than John’s channel, in both Youtube and Patreon numbers. This irritates John to an extreme degree he is constantly threatening lawsuits and ‘real world consequences’.
(The CEO he’s talking about in that clip is the Patreon CEO. John is apparently also planning to sue them for making money from people mocking him).
John also frequently files false DMCA claims against anyone who covers him and every single claim has ended up unsuccessful. Here's a screenshot that The Shuli Show posted when John started to DMCA their content.
He did an interview with comedian Chrissie Mayr who mentioned that he ‘dabbles’ in comedy. John took immediate offense to that and had a meltdown:

The dumbest fundraiser in history
John recently stated that he was accepting donations for one of his regular chat remembers who had been diagnosed with cancer and needed money for Chemo. Instead of doing the legal thing and opening a GoFundMe, John instructed his followers to donate to him directly and then he would pass it on. This caused a stir due to John’s actions likely being illegal, he had to quickly correct himself and threatened multiple lawsuits while he did.
DC Trip
John wanted to relive his old glory days of asking famous people horrific questions so he announced a trip to Washington DC where he planned to corner Republican politicians outside congress and insult them. He hyped and fund-raised for over a year and the trip ended up being a complete disaster. This video by Dabbling Stuttering John sums the whole ordeal up pretty well:
Banned from the Pickwick Pub
John's favorite watering hole used to be the Pickwick Pub, he has invited his trolls to come and fight him at this location many times:

John has never written anything funny or witty. He wrote a shitty autobiography that nobody bought:

John fancies himself a comedian but is currently ‘retired’ due to his trolls threatening to beat women at every gig he goes to (yes, he actually used that lie as an excuse as to why no club wants him to perform).
Substitute Teacher
With his showbiz career long over it looks like John took on a substitute teaching gig to pay the bills. He tweeted out a selfie with a teacher while at a school not realizing that this alerted all his trolls to his new career.
His trolls connected the dots and an embarrassed John vehemently denied that he was a teacher, which led someone to check and confirm it:

Recently John hired a group of guys to track Shuli (one of his detractors and a real comedian) down at one of his comedy gigs and threaten him for mocking John online.

He’s stated that his lawyers are preparing to file a lawsuit against Patreon, Karl from WATP, and Shuli. Given that he’s now protected his twitter I think he’s about to actually go through with it, which is another reason why I’m making this thread.
