It's just fucking stupid. It's clear the author of this comic has zero actual experience with reality of any sort. He is literally portraying himself as the (supposed) strawman that the right creates about socialists just wanting everything to be free and being entitled to free shit just for simply existing.
You need food to survive. Should food be free? Should you be allowed to eat if you don't work or even lift a finger to contribute? WHY do you deserve to have your basic necessities met if you don't do jack shit for anyone else?
Someone had to work to create that food, or those tampons, or whatever else you want to be given as a free handout. Why should they work and receive nothing in return from you? Sure, if you're an extremely needy person, people may give you some help out of the kindness of their hearts. But if you want to fucking force people to give their own good, hard-earned money and resources to you just because you want them to, you're a moocher.
