There is no legal distinction if they access that account and data using a brute force attack, man in the middle, or injection to steal session cookies, or if the ex-wife kept the passwords or the gay ex-boyfriend kept your account logged in for months perpetually by using the access so the cookie did not expire.

It might be relevant for sentencing, but not for the actual law that was broken.

Searching transcript keywords today there appeared a minor but amusing development on that front: apparently in retaliation against MAPton's recent gayops pertaining to Aaron's gym, on two shows in a row Aaron started leaning really hard into MAPton's coke arrest and more specifically what a little bitch he is for going through all the effort and expense to try scrubbing it from the iInternet as though anyone would have even held it against him had it stayed out in the open.

Admittedly this adds nothing new about the arrest itself, but considering how MAPton cried like a girl on Josh Denny's shoulder about it and doth protest too much with all the efforts to hide it, Aaron looping back to it at least a half-dozen times trying to make this open secret resurface in dabbletard-world could hopefully strike a nerve and make the fat nonce seethe and spiral more than usual for everyone's amusement. It would be even better if this resurfacing could provoke a Streisand Effect that finally motivates somebody to just get ahold of those court records and post them someplace where that wasted $50K could never bury them, but that's probably getting overly optimistic since most of Aaron's fanbase grew from his local radio footprint and what added dabbleverse fans he's scooped up along the way are unlikely to live in the LA area where the records would be. One can only hope they come out somehow.
