From what it looks like so far: margo rage quit her family and kept venus away from her family and from venus's dad. From the photos posted by margos dad, they look like a totally loving, supportive, tight knit family (margo claims they're part of a cult which is why she must "protect" venus from them).

But ever since v made a break for it and left to be with her husband, margo's family has broken cover for the first time. From how quickly they reached out, they must've been watching venus's career from the sidelines, and waited until she was on her own away from margo to make contact. Venus's grandpa even has some cute family photos where she wasn't there, but he pasted in a video still of her so she wouldn't be left out. So they do seem to care quite a bit what happens to her, and have taken this opportunity to intervene a bit.

It warms my cold black heart to see things coming up venus, I'll be honest. Margo won't go down quietly but v isn't alone any more: her husband and extended family are gathering around.

You know, throughout this entire thread I've been hoping that someone else would step in. Venus taking the initiative is wonderful, and Manaki is awesome for all that he's done, but Venus needs a support network that's larger than one person. A group that is directly involved in her life who can help her forever break free of Margo's bullshit. A slew of immediate relatives is exactly what I was hoping for.

Seriously, the majority of Kiwis hope against hope that cows will mature and stop being cows, but it pretty much never happens. To see something like this unfold in real time? Fucking beautiful.

She's trying to bait venus with an email for v taking the Japanese language proficiency test... which is offered at any time, and you don't need an invite to take it. So this is just marge pretending she's holding venus's only chance of taking this exam, which is nonsense.

She says "spring blossoms already starting to show - can't wait"
It seems she thinks these are cherry blossoms. They are plum blossoms, which are a winter blooming flower though they give the feeling that spring is on the way. Still not a spring flower. Cherry blossoms won't begin blooming until later next month.

Yeah, margendo arrived a couple days in advance of venus's birthday - v was fragile enough to tell marge it was ok to come for a quick visit for the day, and either v asked or marge offered to bring the things v left behind. Then marge showed up having packed up all of her own shit in tow, expecting to move in with venus and manaki. When venus was like, uh, no? Marge lured her to the airport with a.promise of her things, which is when she tried to snatched venus up.

So marge headed to japan around 8 february, anticipating being able to move back to japan permanently with venus and manaki.

Marge has taken to posting happy pictures of her and Venus - which she feels definitively prove she couldn't possibly have abused v and venus has been brainwashed by Manaki to think this happened.

Oh, and one more little thing: Marge now has NO IDEA why people think Venus abuses animals, goodness people make up such stories! ... except Marge is the one who told the world that Venus abuses animals. Like, she did this 2 weeks ago and it triggered an army of edgelords to attack Venus on every aspect of social media, forcing Venus to address each insane thing her mother was accusing her of. Margo is THE SOURCE. She is truly fucking insane if she thinks people are going along with her gaslighting nonsense (except for other shitty parents, of course - you know, the "You can never leave a mother! Well, Margo appears to be doing one or all of the following for money: draining what's left in the account Venus left her with, and / or doing some hotel escorting (all of these photos of late night hotels, presents, and rooftops restaurants scream hotel escort to me.) There's also the matter of the checks she was receiving from the Swiss government for being the parent of a Swiss child; as long as Venus lived with her, Marge was eligible to receive those funds until Venus was 25.

In regards to staying in Japan, Marge can stay legally on 3 month tourist visa, but since Marge has shown in the past that she has zero issues with breaking the law (tax evasion is the reason she doesn't return to Europe) I doubt the visa length means anything to her.

Marge did say she'd gone to the Hungarian embassy for aid early on in this fiasco. Since she's a Hungarian citizen (unlike Venus, who held HOLDS Swiss citizenship [edited to reflect info on legal status for people married to Japanese nationals] up until her marriage - Japan doesn't allow duel citizenships) that would be her only recourse as far as repatriation. But who fucking knows what she told the embassy, Margo probably showed up with screenshots and some story about her married daughter moving in with her husband being the equivalent to kidnapping. Which only makes Marge look crazy, and wtf would the Hungarian embassy do about a former Swiss citizen moving in with her Japanese husband?

So if Marge ends up without any money and stuck in Japan, yes, the Hungarian embassy would send her back to Hungary, but she would be indebted to the government for the costs of doing so. And I'm not sure about Margo's current legal status due to her tax evasion in Hungary, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the UK. I know she owes back taxes to all, and she's probably still cashing the Swiss child support checks, which is also illegal at this point.

Actually, there was a benefits reform recently that lists as one of the conditions that you have to live in the UK for 2/4 years before you can claim benefits.
So if she moved to the UK fairly recently, there will be no benefits for her.
