A generator designed to kick in automatically when the power goes off might set him back $2000 including installation - and that's on the high side.

It isn’t worth having an ATS installed in conjunction with a generator if he’s in a rental. He’s basically paying for someone to add hardware to the main panel on a property he does not own. He can always haul the generator off with him when he moves but the ATS would be staying.

EDIT: most consoomer-grade UPS’ would offer maybe 30 minutes of backup power at the most. Anything larger would normally require a 30a receptacle (in my experience, in the states) and is most likely
1.) too heavy for piggertits to lift and place where he needs it
2.) too expensive for piggertits to purchase since it’s basically an enclosure with a bunch of batteries

Ralph wasn't happy with them around, if he was he wouldn't have threatened to kill Pantsu, call his daughter a bitch or spend every waking hour completely off his face on xannies and alcohol. It's the same shit with Sandra, he treated her like garbage and yet now she's dead he's upset about the situation.

For Ralph to be happy he will need to deal with his underlying trauma, which I would guess primarily stem from parental abandonment and possibly being bullied for being a fat retard. I think psychologically he is actually capable of this, given he has displayed a small amount of introspection at times, but the situation he exists in at the moment means he never will.

If the killstream died and he was completely destitute, it might be a choice between dealing with his issues and suicide, but if he can scrape by as he is doing now it is easier for him to wallow in his piss bottles.
