Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

reddit's /r/politics subreddit circlejerks itself raw over a laughably blatant fake story that The Guardian published about some cuck that fell to the evil alt-Reich dark side but quickly saw reason again and returned to cuckdom. Comments full of the usual "DAE le Drumpf = le Hitler" stuff as well as the usual "Christians are as bad as Muslims, usually worse, even!" stuff, but these two comments stood out to me:

What did Fidel do that isn't being done to black people right now? Well, summary jailing for being suspected of political dissent, or being too wealthy, which was the same thing.... and that's just for starters.

"I think my neighbor might be gay". Send his fruity ass on a makeshift boat to Florida. Don't give his homo ass any water or food for the trip.

nigga the overwhelming majority of medieval European scientists were Christians and sponsored by the Church. The reason it's called the dark ages is because no one is really quite sure what was actually happening. People overestimate the influence and power the church really had. Like there's documents of the church freeing slaves but slave owners still killing them because they still own them. Also the majority of Palestinian Arabs supported Hitler because both hated Jews. Tips fedora.

Can you post the link to the Reddit thread? I'm interested in reading the rest of the comments.

Yeah, people are so uninformed about the Dark Ages. Like you said, they're not called the Dark Ages because everything was so awful and bleak, it's because it's a literal dark spot in the study of history. There are fewer records of it than of the eras that came before and after. Also, most of the chaos of that era was due to the Roman Empire collapsing, not anything to do with religion.

This. Also as far as the world outside Western Europe was concerned, it was an era of relative peace and progress and from Constantinople through Sassanid Persia all the way to China there was order, progress, and trade.

The dark ages were actually a relatively prosperous time when warfare and disease killed far less people then typically was the case in Europe.

Whoops, I meant to add it in the first place but I must have forgotten. Here it is:

https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/5fbehx/altright_online_poison_nearly_turned_me_into_a/

This part of the article made me laugh out loud:

On one occasion I even, I am ashamed to admit, very diplomatically expressed negative sentiments on Islam to my wife. Nothing “overtly racist”, just some of the “innocuous” type of things the YouTubers had presented: “Islam isn’t compatible with western civilisation.”

She was taken aback: “Isn’t that a bit … rightwing?”

I justified it: “Well, I’m more a left-leaning centrist. PC culture has gone too far, we should be able to discuss these things without shutting down the conversation by calling people racist, or bigots.”

The indoctrination was complete.

Literally nothing happened to this guy, he just started thinking that maybe Islam isn't as STUNNING AND BRAVE as he'd been led to believe. He even acknowledges that the "alt-right" YouTube spouting disgusting Islamophobia never directed any bigotry or hatred towards Muslims as people, just the doctrine and tenets of Islam.

You can criticize Islam and still believe that Muslims deserve to be treated with respect. You can criticize Christianity and still believe that Christians deserve to be treated with respect. You can criticize liberalism and still believe that liberals deserve to be treated with respect. It's really not hard.

Not sure if that's trolling or LARPing because it sounds like a cult member begging forgiveness from the cult for blaspheming.

Looks like Stein missed the recount deadline for PA: http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/p...stein-missed-recount-deadline/article/2608305

Nice one hill shills :story:

SHHHH....the shills still think they have a chance...

EDIT: On a serious note, there were three ways to contest in PA. One is to present clear evidence of tampering, which everyone said there was none. Two would be to have each County have 3 people sign a petition, the deadline of which was the 21st and many counties did not do so. The third, and most costly route is for Stein to take the recount to court in a lawsuit, which could get shut down depending on the judge.

Michigan's petition is due this Wednesday.

Lol I already had read 90% of those

Our latest Commander-in-Chief is a pro-Tiennamen-Square crack-downer with extensive ties to Second-World oligarchs who won office on an anti-free-trade, pro-protectionist platform.

Even if he fails to keep his promises, the people voted for him because they want, at minimum, the protectionist part of socialism. A sort-of "nationalist" socialism, if you will.

Just coming back to this thread. So, we're into stage 3 of the five stages of Trump-inspired grief I see. We've had the literally shaking and I can't even and cry-ins as denial, and the breaking stuff and reeeeing as anger, now we're well into bargaining. Recounts! Audit the vote! It was rigged! Conspiratardery!

Next up will be depression.

How many Tumblrinas do we think will attempt to an hero between now and January because they can't face living under a Trump administration. Even though as well-off upper middle class types they're not very oppressed in the grand scheme of things and probably more privileged due to their wealth and/or family wealth than your average Trump voter.

This stage has probably started when Trump tweeted about the burning of an American flag and people are freaking out that he'll take away their free speech.

Fun fact: Trump is just taking a position Hillary took in 2005 https://twitter.com/Itsjoeco/status/803585651169955840?ref_src=twsrc^tfw
