People like this know they have no intrinsic value. They don't have marketable skills, noteworthy talents, or merits as a person. The only way he has to establish his value are these contrived external sources. "I'm valuable because others hit the heart on my tweet!" "I'm valuable because others made this valuable thing which I bought!" "I'm valuable because others lust after me!"
Anytime it seems to start to slip away, Caden Shitlick has a crisis. Twitter account suspended? Panic. People turn on him for his financial misappropriation? Panic. Called out for being a child predator groomer? Panic. Until it smooths over and then it's back to swallowing his self-worth with estrogen, buying a new expensive toy, and publishing another phony fake tweet that's botted for engagement.

A few months ago I wrote about how Caden’s victim complex manifests itself as a complete absence of superego or ego, but seeing him have to confront reality this soon has been as surprising as it was amusing for me.
I suppose the writing was on the wall given this context and his incessant attention seeking behaviours, but I cannot fathom how he expects to be in anyone’s good graces while actively fucking over the community he’s trying to establish himself in. Twitter furries are some of the most shallow, indiscriminate, and unconditional supporters you can get, and yet he’s still managed to fuck this up.
Is this just a total disconnect from reality brought on by being chronically online? Your guess of what went wrong here is as good as mine.

Blindly supporting someone, orbiting around them at their every movement, and defending them from any criticism till literal death, I assume. Difference is Taylor Swift's very rarely gets into controversies. The only controversial thing I know about her is her desire to drive jet planes all the time to relatively short locations. I would say a better comparison is Dream. He's the Dream of furries, minus the grooming accusations (that we will probably hear about in the foreseeable future, so rainbows).

The furfags over at Fursodas must be retarded like actually medically certificated retards. Because trusting AGAIN the guy that scammed you and almost broke your business, it is so colossally retarded that it took me a moment to process it.
I would actually argue that their fursuits are so poorly ventilated that the furries are slowly poisoning themselves by breathing their own CO2 and by extension becoming more retarded too.

Both are celebrities(?) with an army of adoring fans willing to defend their problematic actions and questionable business practices. Just instead of racking up private jet bills the size of a small country's GDP and rigging the Billboard charts with thirty different versions of the same album, Caden eats his own feces and embezzles funds from furry soda companies. Similar stuff really.
I don't think he "expects" anything at all. That would imply an ability for forethought and judgement of one's own actions, however flawed. Caden is a classic lolcow in that the notion of cause and effect is totally beyond him. There was no malice or greed in his decision to pull out of Fursodas; the whole endeavour simply became too demanding for him, so he turned his attention to something that required less effort and was more immediately rewarding (posting on Twitter and filming fart porn).
He has a special kind of stunted development endemic to the furry community, where his decision-making seems to be entirely based on moment-to-moment reward and punishment. I fully suspect that the thought of his behaviour re: Fursodas negatively impacting other people didn't even occur to him until the first callout post was made and his online numbers started going down. This is also why people in his Twitter circle are so quick to forgive him again and again as soon as he promises he's DEFINITELY changed and is ACTUALLY going to set things right this time -- they suck at making mental models of someone's future behaviour based on their actions in the past, so the fact that he's acting responsible now is enough for them to let him off the hook. Only the most observant among them will actually try to hold him accountable for the things he does.
Actually the shit-eating has successfully immunised his body against every disease. Caden Scholeck will serve as the basis for a future generation of super-soldiers.
