-Bryan asks for his lego
-He gets ghosted
-Ben asks for his lego
-"Yeah, send us an email"
-He gets ghosted
-Ammon tells the police Ben threatened to burn his company
-Even though the police checked that it was a lie, they still kept Ammon's case up because Ben didn't instantly leave the very first time he was asked to.

Part of it may be because by now we perceive part 2 as part 2+unredacted footage and other extras.
Vanilla part 2 didn't have police obviously conspiring with BAM behind the scenes and believing obvious bullshit or courts being really weird while part 3 has that.
By leaking unredacted footage AFPD removed some of that impact so Ben should sue them for Spoliation of Good Content.

Part 3 really solidifies that Ammon is not credible and has lied to the police. The police are Mormons who hate degen Californian outsiders and ignore those blatant lies to fabricate charges against Ben.
