They cant stand anyone looking prettier than them.

You'd think a bunch of know-nothing westerners "correcting" characters drawn by east Asian artists might be considered... problematic.

I'd say that it's their way of getting back at the weeaboos. But then again, they look just as bad doing so, for different reasons.
