I think Big Bang Theory killed off unironic fandom in things like Elvish and Klingon. Wish they had kept referring to it as Klingonese

I think there is someone here who speaks both Klingon and Vulcan. She even has her own thread.

The Klingon Language Institute is still alive and well though not as busy as it was when star trek had multiple shows concurrently.
