I never really understood why they bothered introducing Simon so quickly after Jessica. They didn't even do anything with him, what was the point?

He got introduced first. Literally Geoffs grand finale and wasted half the final arc on Simon. No one cared. Jessica, on the other hand...

I can't stand how I liked Jessica better as Power Ring than just another green lantern.
