Because if SJWs can use their fictional characters as a political mouthpiece, you're damn straight they will. Also, this picture is double ironic...

Its pretty telling about the American society when fictional characters are using masks, while the re tards in real life refuse to do so.

I think it's because Koreans/Japanese people wear them a lot, and then Koreaboos and Weebs made them popular. At least that's my take on it.
