Especially since every good mod out there has 20 terrible equivalents. And if Valve doesn't, they can no doubt lose a good number of users that...

Hasn't Valve already been monetizing mods? Ok but seriously it's just a dumb idea to monetize little waifu and pony mods, or little gameplay mods...
