I wonder if that’s the case, themat the creators didn’t think Kiteman/Ivy would be so popular. They severely miscalculated with that “Snyder Cut”...

I think there are a couple of reasons it's not working. That's one of them. Kiteman is just a really great guy and is obviously good for Ivy...
