I think it was mostly the gunplay and the guns themselves. Overall, weapons didn't feel as accurate or as good to use like in the first game...

I was also annoyed throughout BL2 as well, though the gameplay was solid. Frankly, the Borderlands brand of humor isn't my cup of tea.
