I dont believe that, you dont move to LA just to make merch, there are probably bigger reasons we dont know yet. My guess is that they are not...

Unless they're actually crafting the merch in the office (and not just designing the merch that they send out for someone else to produce); why...

Wait didn't they just dress up their current office? Why spend all that money dressing it up and then deciding "nah let's move"?
