That could have been any of the ones from the last decade (Kaizoku-Fansubs, the short lived Geru Sama, etc), they all were kind of doing that.

Kaizoku went on for like 200 episodes. IMO, the best one was Yibis-Subs, but they disbanded a few years ago, and iirc, some of them now work on...
